Description

These are the Badger Army Units. They are a combination of Rangers, CIA and the Nowheraki Swat.

I always wanted a combination of them all and so I made this mod. But don't think that they are too powerful. They still shoot a tiny bit (40ms) slower than the Rangers. The do not have all the scope benefits of the Rangers. They don't have all the undercover benefits of the CIA either and they are not completely Nowheraki also.

The Badger army has their own weapons. These weapons are not real world weapons, I created them out of my imagination.

My mod do not have doctrines. The squad comes as a fully trained one, which means their doctrines are hard coded and you don't have to worry about it. The doctrine description is in the doctrine menu. Please read it if you want to know about the hard-coded doctrines.

They have 5 units: A CQB/crowd-control units(Panther), assault(Portia), Marksman(Titan), undercover(Owl), local rebellion(Mongoose). Have Fun!

Please report me if you find any bug or error in my mod. I will make changes as soon as possible.

And since this is my first mod for this game, your comments mean a lot to me. Please let me know what you guys like/dislike about my mod.

Note:
If your mod has been updated to the new version and the new units are blank, just delete the squad and create a new one. I'll not be adding any more units in this squad and this will not happen again.

Version 1.3
Added new Squad. These are the Orca Army. They are the locals who joined arms with the Badger Corporation to fight for their land. There are two groups in this squad. Assault and Support. There are 30 assault units and 2 support units. These units are nothing like Rangers or CIA or Nowheraki. The are moderately trained, do not have any fancy weapons and have very limited weapons. Its hard to keep them alive. I’m not sure about how they will thrive against the regular base-game tangos because I tested them completely against NGF Ground Forces as Enemies mod. (NOTE: nothing is copied from NGF mod). And its hard against them.
So I highly recommend you to install these mods if you want a tough time:
First: NGF Asset Pack
Second: NGF Ground Forces as Enemies
While enabling mods enable NGF Asset Pack first and then enable NGF Ground Forces as Enemies.
Version 1.3.1: Added LMGs. PKP LMG for Badgers and RPK LMG for Mongoose and Orca. Removed suppress fire attack mode from assault rifles (like the default game). LMGs are here to do that job(again, as default game).

Version 1.4
  • Few guns are removed as I intend to keep only the Badger guns.
  • A new gun is added to the Badger Squad. There are many tweaks done to the guns and other equipment in the mod.
  • Many doctrines are rewritten. This may cause the Badgers to perform a little less than before but they are still very good. The reason: Most doctrines were copied from Rangers and Rangers’ doctrines are too OP because Rangers have very high crit-values, negative aim-time and high accuracy at the time that I upload this mod. So most of the doctrines are changed.
  • All the details about the hard-coded doctrines can be found in the doctrines menu now. Please read them.
  • Semi-Auto firing mode: Badgers can now fire in semi-auto mode at all ranges. To activate this go to the doctrines menu of the badger squad and activate doctrine 'RIFLE SEMI AUTO'. To disable it click on the 'RESET' button. This does not give any special buffs or skills. It is just a different mode of aiming and firing with a little bit of accuracy and critical hit chance.
  • Scopes added to the Mongoose Squad and the Orca army.
Version 1.4.1:After the new door kickers 2 patch-2 the weapons are no longer lowered before hitting the wall depending upon the weapon category. So the lever-action gun is set to a new category. It is a combination of rifle of dmr now. It is better than a rifle in hitting obscured targets, better conditioning and can be fired faster from cover. Overall it is better than before. A lot of minor tweaks done to weapons.
Version 1.4.2:Three new guns added. one for Portia squad and two for Titan squad.

just a heads-up, the AK-12 is not from the GRU "mod", it's from IOV
some of the assets used in GRU aren't even credited at all on the nexus page, but i'm not sure if they are actually used at all
