Diseases:
  • Adjusted how much gold and levies are given based on current province infection levels.
Compatibility:
  • AGOT: Sickle cell will no longer appear on characters on the start of a new game.
  • AGOT: To reduce the amount of players making new saves, A new one time decision has been added to remove sickle cell from every "living" character in the game

Diseases:
  • Plague Resistance is now calculated and used for plague spread at the province level. (Higher plague resist = less likely for plague to spread to your province)

Traits:
  • Sickle Cell (Applies a tiny health penalty, but gives a reduced chance of Malaria being contracted)
  • There is a 0.5% chance of children being born blind.
Misc:
  • Sickle Cell at the start of a game has a chance of being applied to rulers with the Niger Delta, Akan, and Guinean
    Uplander heritages.
Bugfixes:
  • Fixed an issue where diseases don't spread properly (I made a typo)

  • Disabled Eternal Black Death option for now
Fertility
  • Rebalanced fertility to allow atleast 3-5 kids to survive out of 8 or 9 children. This way you don't end up having 1-2 children per character surviving.

Misc:
  • Fixed "Missing Disease" in events
  • Added Game rule option to disable mortality events, such as :sudden heart attack, peasant attack,etc
  • Created new death icons to see which of your characters were taken out by DDF!

Diseases:
  • Plague resistance matters more. Before, the game would check in increments of 30, 50, and 80. Now it checks from 1, 10, 20, to 90
  • Added influenza
  • Added diphtheria(Non epidemic)
  • Allowed more diseases to be caught while imprisoned
  • Created 4 new gamerules ("Fantasy Epidemics","Plague Duration","Plague Frequency", "Eternal Bubonic Plague")
Fertility:
  • Reduced chances of childbirth complications by small margin
  • Children are less likely to die of SIDS
Buildings:
  • Added Animal pens to tribal holdings
  • Added 2 levels to the plague doctor buildings
Decisions:
  • Added Variolation when a plague is present in your realm. This allows you the chance of getting immunization to a specific disease, but comes with a risk of becoming sick!
Misc:
  • Added fantasy epidemics setting (Only 1 exists at the moment)
  • Plague frequency stacks with ingame settings so keep that in mind when changing this
  • Eternal Bubonic plague is eternal, have fun.
  • Updated to work with v1.14.2 of CKIII
Note:
  • Plague resistance matters more in this update. Plague resistance controls not only the chance of characters getting infected, but also determines the likely-hood of outbreaks to occur.
