  • Reaching danger levels of health will now disable sprinting
  • Introduced a hit stun when being hit by a zombie
  • Slightly increased zombie attack range
  • In-game timer no longer runs during room transitions

The last patch made zombies too easy to dodge (you could just run through them lol). I've increased the range of zombies slightly so that you can't run through most zombies. Some can still be ran through with precise positioning but others are more unsafe. Being hit now also temporarily slows you down, and taking too many hits will stop you from being able to sprint outright.

These changes were to make taking hits more punishing. Slow downs while being hit will mean you can get stuck if you position poorly. This also affects speed runs as you can't just tank hits and use healing items to blaze through paths.

The in-game timer adjustment also warranted a change in the ranking requirements. (About a minute lower for each rank).

More adjustments will be coming soon. I'm planning to rework the ranking system a little bit and maybe add achievements? We'll see.
