This character has remained untouched for a long time. This was a collab character that was created in a month for a character jam, and so there were some problems with it. Hopefully with this patch most of them were fixed and the character feels better now - Silver




QoL, visual and bug fixes

New smear frames on Jab, Side Tilt, Up Tilt, Up Strong, Backwards Air, Up Air

Added sparkle sound while digging up Golden Acorns

Added a new icon that displays when Molotov is off cooldown.

Added a new icon that displays when Molotov is attempted to be used while on cooldown.

Balance Changes

Due to being used in multiple attacks, the Acorn projectile will be detailed here:

CHANGE Acorn now has a trail for visibility

BUFF All Regular Acorns damage increased from 1 to 3

CHANGE Acorn now has special logic for directional knockback to stop the occasional bypassing of shields

CHANGE All Acorn Stockpile abilities replaced with the new Golden Acorn, which is significantly more powerful

NERF Up Strong and Neutral Special Acorn Knockback Scaling reduced from 0.1 to 0.025

CHANGE Gravity Multiplier reduced from 1.15 to 0.9

NERF Defense Multiplier reduced from 1.73 to 1.62

NERF Side Tilt endlag increased by 3 frames

BUFF Side Tilt Extra Hitstun increased from 0 to 0.05

BUFF Down Tilt three less frames of endlag

BUFF Down Tilt retopple cooldown reduced from 80 event frames to 40

BUFF Side Strongs Base Knockback increased from 7 to 8, and Knockback Scaling from 0.135 to 0.145

CHANGE Up Strong has a second weaker hitbox that hits the ground

BUFF Down Strongs regular hitboxes damage increased from 5 to 6

CHANGE Down Strongs Final Hitbox Base Knockback increased from 5 to 8, and Knockback Scaling reduced from 0.175 to 0.165

BUFF Down Strong now has a small hitbox covering the mouth to push into the rest of the attack

BUFF Neutral Air startup reduced by 3 frames

NERF Removed brief super armour from Forward Air (Why was that there?! I have no recollection of it, must have been a left over from testing.)

Side Special Molotov had a code rework to fix desyncs. Minor unnoted changes may exist.

BUFF Side Special no longer cancels when landing from the air.

CHANGE Molotov also lights up slightly when on the damaging frame to give a visual indication

CHANGE Molotov can no longer be transfered to other players

BUFF Down Special Stockpile cap increased from 3 to 5

BUFF Down Throws endlag reduced by 6 frames

BUFF A new safety stunning hit box at the end of Ultra to better catch opponents in preparation for the final hit. Notably in comparison to the first stunner, its Height is increased from 12 to 16 and Width from 7 to 11, and is also placed slightly further back

BUFF Ultras dynamite explosion Height and Width increased from 15 to 17
