Patch Notes:

  • The Bling Bazooka's effects should now only apply to rockets the player fires.

Known Issues:
  • Found in 0.4: Bees from Spirit Mod's Honeyed Glyph appear to sometimes trigger invincibility frames when used with faster-firing launchers such as the Judgment, particularly when firing vanilla or Scrap rockets. No issues have been noticed with modded rockets like the Space Rocket.

Patch Notes:

  • Cross-mod compatibility with Orchid has been added! Guardians can now land Ballistic Strikes with Shield slams, Hammers and Gauntlet punches.
  • There is now a failsafe if projectiles check for rocket extras in Multiplayer when they shouldn't be doing that.

Version 0.4.1 has been published to Stable tModLoader v2024.7

Patch Notes:

  • The Swamp Lizard's damage has been increased from 36 to 39.
  • The Mystic Mortar's damage has been reduced to 20 and its attack speed has been reduced. It's still strong, but it should no longer overshadow other options (such as the Swamp Lizard) quite as much.
  • The Judgment's damage has been increased from 15 to 25 and its ammo penalty changed to -20% (up from -25%), and it also fires a bit faster. It should now be well worth taking down a Mechanical Boss for!
  • "Rocket damage" is now listed as "Ranged (Rocket) damage" to better illustrate that it also benefits from ranged bonuses.

Known Issues:
  • Thorium Mod's The Javelin is unable to fire Blastoff rockets; this isn't unique to Blastoff, I also observed it having the same problem with infinite rockets added by other mods.

Version 0.4 has been published to Stable tModLoader v2024.7

Patch Notes:

  • The Rocketeer's Gunboats now have a hardmode upgrade: the Merciless Manntreads! Use Silk, Hellstone Bars and Souls of Flight to craft them.
  • An Academic Treatise On The Physics Of Close Range Combat When You Go Really, Really Fast, Volume I also joins the list of accessories, offering a stupidly long name and +20 Armor Penetration on Ballistic Strikes! To make it, you'll need a target dummy, a bookcase, a book, and some Spikes and Gel.
  • The Glistering Grapeshot has been added to the drop table of the Flying Dutchman's cannons! This will add additional golden bomblets to your rockets.
  • Fixed an issue where certain modded items weren't getting Armor Penetration from Rocket Damage added on when used for Ballistic Strikes.

Version 0.3 has been published to Stable tModLoader v2024.7

Patch Notes:

  • A new weapon, the Wooden Dragon, has been added! It has less direct-hit damage on its rockets, but more knockback and a larger blast radius. Grab some Bamboo and Dynasty Wood and you can get down to business.
  • Joja Cola can now be used to make Scrap Rockets, with a recipe similar to the existing Tin Can recipe.
  • Modded projectiles that deal Rocket self-damage now all get halved self-damage; Spirit Mod rockets were impractical for blast jumping, even with the Gunboats, and this change should alleviate that issue.
  • Spirit Mod clubs now can deal Ballistic Strikes at a 3x rate! If you can get the timing down, you can dish out some serious damage.
  • Spirit Mod's Anime Sword and Blade of the Dragon should now also count as Ballistic Strikes with the first hit of their Dash attack. (Bamboo Kendo Blade's dash didn't seem to work, but its standard attack should work just fine.)
  • Did a little refactoring; a few rockets, like the Flying Scarab, no longer use the default "ai" array. I've noticed less exceptions showing up during testing; not sure if it's what I did or something tModLoader did.
