[1.5]

- removed "mm" from track names to clean up the menu a bit and otherwise cleaned up some of the internal names of the modded tracks

- numerous texture fixes and updates, mostly as a part of unifying my overarching modding procedure (notable improvements being the 'rail shadow' has been moved from being a feature of the balast textures to being a feature of the tie textures, allowing the balast to be unpaired from track gauge)

[1.4] -- major update --

- adjustments to angle speed factors to allow for more accurate high speed lines as well to make it easier to deal with level crossings, as the existing factor was too strict it turns out (especially for the shorter track lengths that level crossings require)

- removed a few unused or redundant textures

- siding / yard track has been reduced to a max speed of 100km/h due to it's intended lack of a train control system (even 100km/h is a bit fast for this, but for the sake of gameplay and usability i decided on 100. (notably, because the freight speed limit in germany is 100km/h))

- all mainline and basic balastless tracks have been reduced to a max speed of 160km/h, due to them being intended to have only PZB train control installed (im aware this may affect existing saves, i tried to make this the only major change that should be adjusted for in existing saves, everything else should still work fine as built)

- "upgraded" tracks have been renamed to reflect their original intent, that being tracks with ETCS hardware installed. their speed limits have been adjusted to a maximum of 250km/h due to the tracks being balasted (to be honest the original intent was for these to be using what i know now to be LZB track hardware, but since the original texture did not have this modelled, and since ETCS hardware cannot be included in the texture due to how modding works currently, i decided to just let this be ETCS)

- "ICE type-1" tracks have been renamed and adjusted to reflect their original intent, that being LZB controlled balastless tracks which germany uses almost exclusively for ICE lines. (LZB control originally has a top speed of 280km/h, but there is a better version of LZB which allows for 300km/h, called CIR ELKE-II, which this will be considered to use for gameplay purposes)

- "ICE type-2" tracks have been increased to a speed limit of 320km/h due to them being 'equiped with ETCS hardware', and renamed to "ETCS - ICE inspired" due to being modelled after the specific construction of the Leipzig-Erfurt ICE corridor.

- a few new tracks have been added to fill the gaps of varients i did not know exist until recently. "LZB balasted" and "LZB balasted w/guides" with speed limits of 250km/h to fill the role of what the original "upgraded" tracks were supposed to be, and "ETCS balastless" to act as a visually simpler ICE track than the Leipzig-Erfurt inspired tracks which still are equiped with ETCS hardware and thus have a max speed of 320km/h

(btw i made an attempt to update the thumbnail for the new tracks but the game kept crashing when i selected the thumbnail file so idk- it's not a big deal but yea)

Update: 24 Apr, 2024 @ 2:22am

[1.3]
- double checked track gauge (tracks are in fact standard gauge (1435mm), and thus do not need to be changed), mod name changed to reflect this

- widened ICE Type-2 balast texture (old texture looked too thin)

- improved guide rail texture (now actually looks like real guiding rails as opposed to it appearing to be dual gauge)

Update: 19 Mar, 2024 @ 9:10am

[1.2]
- added changelog.txt (in the mod folder itself)

- updated level crossing speed limit from 250 to a more realistic 160km/h
(thanks to Kaaai for pointing that out)

- minor texture adjustments to make balastless track more visible

- added balast differenciation between siding track and the other higher speed tracks

- minor adjustments to angle speed factors to make them a little more forgiving to real life track speeds
