Version 1.1.1 - The Revamp Hotfix
Dev Notes: During development, I wanted to increase the maximum health of Roadie. My development build does not have the ranked stats mod that shows true HP values of characters, so me, under the impression that the default health was 1000 (10,000 in game), bumped it to 1100 (11,000 in game), making it a massive nerf to Roadie. This hotfix addresses that issue and gives him a compensatory buff to his health.

General:
Buff: Roadie’s maximum base health increased from 1100 (11,000 in game) to 1750 (17,500 in game).

Version 1.1.0 - The Roadie Revamped Update
Dev Notes: Roadie had been rushed during his development due to wanting to finish him before beginning work on my next big idea that I was way more invested in. Unfortunately, this left Roadie feeling a little unpolished and outdated, which I have addressed in this update in multiple ways. Multiple moves have been reanimated for more flair, and one was even done by a friend of mine, credited later in the patch notes. Doing some workshopping and asking around made me realize that Roadie does overall low damage and hitstun, especially for his ideal light heavyweight bruiser archetype. In addition, I have added more tools to Roadie’s arsenal to better bring him in line with his predecessor and upcoming successor, as well as decluttering his moveset, including reworks to Riff, Stagelight Drop, Groupie and Pyrotechnics, coupled with an additional 3 new attacks and 1 new super move.

General:
Change: All moves without special code converted to a single source script: RoadieBasic.gd.
Change: Changed the select sprite from his Wait sprite to his Instant Cancel.
Buff: Base maximum health increased from 1000 (10,000 in-game) to 1100 (11,000 in-game).

New Moves:
Hustle - The familiar taunt from most other characters with a unique Roadie flavor!
Riff (Up, Down and Diagonal Variants) - Focused slashes of music that sacrifice coverage for higher speed and damage.
Mic Swing - A low-hitting golf swing with Roadie’s trusty microphone.
Drum Roll - A forwards-hitting projectile that rolls along the ground after a short wind-up.
Shred - A sliding attack that may seem familiar, followed by a reckless upward guitar swing as an alternative to his other launching attacks. In the air, it only does the launching swing.
Pick of Destiny - A super-powered command grab calling upon the assistance of a certain demon’s tooth.

Riff:
Rework: Added 8-way compatibility, turning the old version of the move into the neutral variant.
Change: Now has a unique hit sound effect.
Buff: Damage for the second hitbox (wider hit) equalized to the first hitbox. This only applies to the neutral variant.
Buff: Neutral variant’s damage increased from 35 to 70.

Amp:
Removed, incorporated as the left/right variant of Riff.

Pyrotechnics:
Change: New animation.
Change: Now has forward and backward variants.
Change: Fire hits now hit Mid instead of Low.
Change: Switched the code file from extending SuperMove to CharacterState, and adjusted the properties accordingly.
Buff: Now has two shockwaves that appear on either side of Roadie to help him knock opponents into Pyrotechnics.
Change: Pyrotechnics nodes moved backwards to make room for the shockwaves.
Buff: A fifth node of Pyrotechnics has been added.
Buff: Damage increased from 30, 35, 40, 45 to 45, 45, 45, 45, 60.
Nerf: No longer cancellable until the final hit.
Nerf: Pyrotechnic hits (not the shockwave) no longer hit OTG.
Nerf: Super meter requirement increased from 1 to 3.

Mic Toss:
Change: Now has a unique sound effect on hit.
Fix: Updated the hitbox frame data on the dummy hitboxes for the non-directional forms of Mic Toss and its air variant to accurately show when the hitbox comes out for each form.
Fix: Added west, northwest and southwest variants, no longer making Roadie need to flip to Mic Toss behind Roadie.
Buff: Damage of all variants increased from 35 to 50.
Buff: All variants’ hitboxes come out 2 frames earlier (11 -> 9).

Groupie:
Change: Now has a unique sound effect when the Groupie spawns.
Change: Collision boxes and hurtboxes adjusted to match the sprite.
Change: Added a “Confidence” toggle that changes where the Groupie spawns and how she moves when the move is used.
Change: Switched the code file from extending SuperMove to CharacterState, and adjusted the properties accordingly.

Stagelight Drop:
Change: Reanimated slightly to change from a retextured wait to a pointing gesture.
Change: Projectile hit now has unique SFX.
Change: Collision box and hurtbox adjusted to match the sprite.
Change: Projectile direction is now more horizontal.
Buff: Projectile now explodes on contact with the opponent, dealing high damage and knockback.
Buff: Projectile now hits OTG.
Nerf: Projectile damage reduced from 70 to 40 to balance out the explosion mechanic.

The Horns:
Change: Now has a unique hit sound effect.
Buff: Damage increased from 50 to 60.

SECURITY!:
Change: Now has a unique sound effect when used and on hit.
Buff: Damage increased from 70 to 95.
Buff: Hitstun increased from 35 ticks to 60 ticks.
Nerf: Hitbox is no longer cancellable before a hit.

Elbow Drop:
Change: Now has a unique hit sound effect.
Buff: Damage increased from 45 to 55.
Buff: Hitstun increased from 25 ticks to 35 ticks.
Nerf: Hitbox is no longer cancellable before a hit.

Stomp:
Change: Now has a unique sound effect on hit.
Buff: Damage increased from 45 to 60.
Buff: Hitstun increased from 30 ticks to 40 ticks.
Nerf: No longer cancellable before a hit.

Piledriver:
Change: Now has a unique sound effect on hit.
Buff: Damage increased from 55 to 70.
Buff: Hitstun increased from 30 ticks to 40 ticks.

Flip Kick (Half):
Removed.

Flip Kick (Full):
Change: Renamed to Flip Kick.
Change: Now has a unique hit sound effect.

Change: First and second hitbox timings rearranged to better match the animation.
Buff: Full version is now usable on the ground.
Buff: Hits OTG.
Buff: Damage increased from 55 to 75.
Nerf: No longer cancellable before a hit.

Jam:
Change: Now has a unique hit sound effect.
Buff: Sour-spot hitbox damage increased from 55 to 65.
Buff: Sweet-spot hitbox damage increased from 70 to 100.
Jam: Both hitboxes are no longer cancellable before a hit.

Axe Strike:
Change: Now has a unique hit sound effect.

Version 1.0.2 - The Accelerando Update
Dev Notes: More major feedback I received about Roadie was that he was too slow when it came to openers in combat, so I have dialed back some of his frame data after more research as to how the other characters behave.

Stomp:
Change: Converted the last two frames (four ticks) of the animation into recovery frames.
Buff: Hitbox comes out 2 ticks earlier (from tick 7 to tick 5).
Nerf: Hitbox duration is 2 ticks shorter (9 to 7).

The Horns:
Change: Converted the last two frames (four ticks) of the animation into recovery frames.
Buff: Hitbox comes out 2 ticks earlier (from tick 7 to tick 5).
Nerf: Hitbox duration is 2 ticks shorter (7 ticks to 5).

Flip Kick (Half):
Buff: Hitbox comes out 2 ticks earlier (from tick 9 to tick 7) and lasts one tick longer (4 to 5).
Nerf: Converted the last frame (2 ticks) of the animation into a recovery frame, and increased the animation length by an additional frame (2 ticks) for a total of 8 frames (16 ticks).

Flip Kick (Full):
Buff: All hitboxes come out two ticks earlier (11 to 9, 14 to 12, and 17 to 15).
Nerf: Converted the last frame (2 ticks) of the animation into a recovery frame, and increased the animation length by an additional frame (2 ticks) for a total of 11 frames (22 ticks).

Jam:
Buff: All hitboxes come out two ticks earlier (13 to 11 and 9 to 7).
Nerf: Converted the last frame (2 ticks) of the animation into a recovery frame, and increased the animation length by an additional frame (2 ticks) for a total of 12 frames (24 ticks).

Axe Strike:
Buff: All hitboxes come out two ticks earlier (13 to 11 and 9 to 7).
Nerf: Sweet-spot hitbox duration reduced by 4 ticks (11 to 7).
Nerf: Converted the last frame (2 ticks) of the animation into a recovery frame, and increased the animation length by an additional frame (2 ticks) for a total of 11 frames (22 ticks).

SECURITY!:
Nerf: Added 3 frames (6 ticks) of recovery to the end of the move.

Elbow Drop, Piledriver, Riff, Amp, all Mic Toss variants and Pyrotechnics:
Nerf: Added 2 frames (4 ticks) of recovery to the end of each of these moves.

Version 1.0.1 - The Feedback Update
Dev Notes: I had a handful of missing things from the launch of Roadie due to my haste in wanting to release him for my friends, and I have since also incorporated some of the initial feedback I have received from initial testing. The major complaints I received were that Pyrotechnics was too close-range and that Roadie’s damage was too low.

Sprites:
Replaced missing sprites for Knockdown and Throw Tech.

HUD:
Rearranged the order of attacks to be more cohesive.

The Horns:
Buff: Damage increased from 40 to 50.

SECURITY!:
Buff: Damage increased from 65 to 70.

Stomp:
Buff: Damage increased from 40 to 45.

Piledriver:
Buff: Damage increased from 40 to 50.
Flip Kick:
Buff: Damage of both variants increased from 45 to 55.

Jam:
Buff: Sour-spot hitbox damage increased from 50 to 55.
Buff: Sweet-spot hitbox damage increased from 65 to 70.

Axe Strike:
Buff: Sweet-spot hitbox damage increased from 65 to 70.

Amp:
Buff: Damage increased from 45 to 55.

Mic Toss:
Change: Gave the aerial version a dummy hitbox similar to the grounded version and Electric Chord that indicates the move has Guard Break.

Stagelight Drop:
Buff: Projectile damage increased from 55 to 70.

Pyrotechnics:
Buff: Range increased from 64 pixels to 96.
Change: Pauses user’s gravity while in use.
Change: Hitbox positions altered to match the new sprite.
Buff: Hitbox timings altered to match the new sprite. Hitboxes 1 and 4 start 1 tick earlier (tick 8 to tick 7 and tick 20 to tick 19 respectively), and Hitboxes 1-3 each last one tick longer (6 ticks to 7).
Buff: Damage increased from 25, 30, 35, 40 to 30, 35, 40, 45.
Buff: Combo decay removed, making every hit deal full damage every time.

Electric Chord:
Buff: Electricity projectile now hits knocked-down opponents.
