- Fixed a bug preventing grenades from exploding properly mid-combo.

Still not the big 1.0 patch, but a number of significant changes, including buffs (!!!) and new functionality (!!!).

- Line Drive's hitbox can now be delayed by up to 4 frames. This gives a much more generous window for deflecting projectiles, but it also means Line Drive's perfect-hit sweetspot is easier to land (hard-reading Cowboy's Spot Dodge for example is now possible, as well as particular dash-in speeds).
- Electromagnetism can now detonate grenades, including frozen grenades. This will unfreeze them and set them to a low timer- but they'll also be primed, meaning they'll explode on proximity to an enemy during a combo, as well.
- Electromagnetism also now affects all grenades within a radius, instead of all grenades in a certain direction, and said grenades will be pulled towards the center of the radius (so you can use it to, for example, drop a grenade on someone's head or pull it in for a grenade surf).
- Riot Crasher/Riot King now bounce off of grenades while falling, increasing the damage significantly for each grenade bounce. The damage can actually get staggeringly high, but it's still pretty impractical (I think).

- Axe moves are all significantly faster (grounded Line Drive is base 7f, Behead is base 8f, Sweep is 9f, Splitter is 10f). They get 1 frame faster if you are already in axe stance, and an additional frame faster if used after another axe move. Ranges and hitboxes have also been adjusted to make them overall more usable.
- Ribsplinter knockback significantly reduced.
- Grenade explosion hitbox and proximity detection greatly increased.
- Grenade Toss/Pitch are now properly flippable and spawn grenades further away from the Deserter by default (mostly aesthetic but technically also allows for slightly longer range).

- A few prediction and surfing bugs removed.

There may be other changes that are unlisted- I did a lot of tweaking while working on throw-cancelling!

Happy New Year (almost)! The Deserter is celebrating. Please use his new Hustle responsibly, we wouldn't want him to drink anything bad.
- Hustle has been buffed. Each use has a different random drink, and a completed Hustle now spawns a minor projectile.
- Squashed a couple bugs.

A patch fresh from a break! No features today, but I'm working on new stuff. Instead, take a big bundle of QOL, buffs, and a new War Machine.

- Engage can no longer be flipped.
This was never intentional. How it got past testing is a mystery.
- Splitter can no longer cancel into itself and has -1 proration.
Shoutouts to Melo on Discord and Exhibitus4 from the Steam page. I did not realize Splitter went infinite in the corner. :D
- War Machine fires 3 grenades in quick succession, spraying in an adjustable arc, instead of firing 3 each.
War Machine's 3 grenades were fast from a frame perspective, but were boring and frustrating to play against as you basically had to skip 3 turns every time it came out. This rework should make them much faster to fire, letting Deserter set up a bunch of grenades without stalling the match as much. Shoutout to Trin from the Modded YOMIH Discord for the feedback.
- Grenade Surf now uses an air option only if aimed up while in the air. Grenade Surf can only be pointed downwards if you have no air options.
Grenade Surf should now be a lot easier to use in the air to get around quickly, but you can't air-stall too easily, as going up removes an air option.
- You can't parry your own grenades, and they don't refresh your air options when they hit you.
Another shoutout to Trin, though the parry exploit they mentioned is something I was aware of. Refreshing air options by intentionally blowing yourself up is funny as hell, but had to go. You can still block your own grenades or take damage from them for some meter, but your opponent gets some, too, and it costs your health.
- Several moves now slow current momentum when used, allowing for a slightly wider spread of options when moving quickly forwards or backwards
This should help make Deserter's neutral feel less scuffed after moving quickly, especially from Grenade Surf. Might add this feature to more moves if needed.
- When a grenade launched by pitch or War Machine is parried, it immediately explodes, giving a free second parry 1 frame later.
This was mostly added because it's cool. There's now potential for someone to parry 6 times off of 1 War Machine, which is honestly kinda sick.
- Dropped Buried Hatchet 1 to frame 6 (was frame 5), plus frames up to 1 (from 0).
- Ribsplinter and Bash can hit cancel into some movement options, adding followup potential.
Taking a couple of Melo's balance suggestions here to add functionality to some of Deserter's moves- and in Buried Hatchet's case, slow him down very slightly.
- Tackle now has Super Armor.
Frame 2 Super Armor on a frame 4 move! Only usable out of Sprint, though, with extremely short range, so it does lose to grab unless the spacing is absolutely immaculate.
- More moves have functional interrupts.
Namely Riot King and Riot Crasher, but I fiddled with Line Drive as well.

UPCOMING:
Hustle upgrade.
Full rework of Axe Stance, including multiple new moves.
Aerial Axe Stance.
Extra visuals and effects.
New ways to fuck around with grenades.
More QOL.
Better thumbnail art.

NEW MOVES:
- Line Drive: A new axe move that bounces away projectiles, including grenades. Can be done out of grenade stance to tee up the grenade and whack it.
- Riot King: A modified version of the Riot Crasher that's usable only while holding a grenade and in the air. Functions like Riot Crasher, but with Grenade Surf's massive speed and much more active frames. Cost a small amount of health to use.

MAJOR CHANGES:
- Most axe moves now have a new UI element that adjusts the move's distance forward and backwards. This helps with the range of the moves, DI mixups, and potential burst-safe combo routes. The amount of distance is fairly small, but gets better alongside the moves' active frames (which are lowered by being in Axe Stance and by following an axe move with another axe move).
- Manuever now moves further.
- Tackle (out of Sprint) has a ton of active frames, turning it into a shoulder bash that can cover dashes and jumps.
- Roll backwards can't be used out of sprint, and dash grab has extra distance out of sprint, too.
- Fell is now a special move, not a super. A new 'sourspot' hitbox at the haft has been added, allowing the armored move to sorta-kinda be countered by running directly into the Deserter.
- Grenade Toss/Pitch do not interrupt directly into grenade pull, limiting grenade spam slightly. Grenade pitch down to IASA 16 from IASA 10.
- Grenade Surf now uses an air option, including when used while grounded. Will be experimenting with ways to punish Surfing far away from your opponent all the time.
- Grenades now have an active hitbox (the same as Grenade Pitch) when launched with Line Drive or another grenade's explosion.
- Electromagnetism now resets the momentum on grenades it pulls, substantially increasing control. It'll get more utility soon.
- Pitch/Toss Grenade now grants the grenade part of Deserter's momentum, allowing him to throw further when he's rushing towards something.

New Special Move: Electromagnetism. Yanks grenades closer to the Deserter, and can place them in a special 'locked' state, where they hover in the air- perfect for setting up combos.
Ribsplinter(A): An aerial version of Ribsplinter for more options while landing.

Design/Balance:
- Axe moves were previously much slower while outside of axe stance (around 4f) and also got faster after using certain axe moves. This is still the case, but the UI now displays the correct active frames & parry windows, and the buttons for axe moves are darkened during 'normal' stance.
- Nemesis Tide is now only available in 'normal' stance, not available during axe stance.
- Ribsplinter is slightly slower.
- Pull Grenade is 10f (from 8f), but is now 5f during combos.
- Grenades now bounce off of other grenade explosions, which is extremely funny.
- Using Manuever-Grenade Stance while in Grenade Stance now resets the duration of your currently-held grenade.
- Added more lightning effects and improved existing ones (especially for Cry Havok).
- More options added to Grenade Stance.
- Slight balance changes across the board.

Bug Fixes:
- Prediction errors when grenades are hit by attacks
- Double explosion sound
- Pushback being applied upon use of Riot Crasher
- Timings for Grenade Pull were displayed inaccurately, now properly shows the amount of frames until the grenade explodes.
- Grenade Surf works properly at high speeds.
- Grenades double-spawning on throw.
- Error during the mirror-match with Manuever into Engage causing the command throw to stall.
- Grenade physics adjusted to cause proper ground friction.
- Grenade hitstun no longer interrupts itself in certain instances.
