The Infinite Cold setting now works properly as a minimum value.

Mod now periodically checks if the trait exists so that you can have the effects if you add the trait mid-game. The trait will be automatically removed once the Cold strength reaches 0.

If Infinite Cold is enabled, removing the trait also removes the permanent sickness, since it checks if the trait exists to reapply the sickness effect.
