ATTENTION
From this version onwards, the Client package can be found in the Mod folder installed on your PC.
By default here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\3004764330

Move it to your Desktop and unzip it in its own folder.

WARNING!
I've noticed that some people make the same mistake:
open\close GoH manually, instead you have to let NORESUS do this.

Also when you get to the MULTIPLAYER/HOST GAME (SKIRMISH) pages you just have to check that:
> SELECT MODE is on STRATEGIC MAP;
> SELECT MAP is on BATTLE IN PROGRESS...;
> STRATEGIC MAP is selected on the right.

You don't and you can't select other maps because it will give you ERROR!

If you don't have the above selections at first, do the following:
1) click on SELECT MODE (even if there are no writings);
2) click on the right on STRATEGIC MAP;
3) click on SELECT MAP and select BATTLE IN PROGRESS;
4) in the list of maps on the right, scroll and click on Battle in progress...
This operation may only be required at the start of the Campaign; then GoH will store it in your settings.

At the suggestion of hawka (whom I thank) to make the battles more engaging, it was decided to switch from Domination mode to Battle Zone mode.
This has led to a reorganization of the NORESUS System and for now 45 maps of the 130 available maps are involved: NORESUS selects them automatically. Within 2/3 days I will also make the remaining maps.

For each battle 3 Bases are randomly selected out of 9 possible locations.

The score to reach is only 300 points (100 for each base). Victory is awarded by NORESUS only if all bases have been conquered within 300 points (even if GoH awards you victory for points!).

Now both AI factions have Battalions of 16 units, compared to your 8 units.

At the request of a player, NATO identifications have been added: open the file nato_icons.txt and change 0 to 1 to activate them.

  • In Local Skirmish it will no longer be necessary to click on the map:
    "Battle in progress..." will always be at the top of the list.
  • Added the icon to the program when it is minimized;
  • Changed the names of the 3 Factions in GoH. They will be called:
    Axis forces
    Red Army
    Neutral Countries;
  • At the end of the battle, GoH closes automatically after a few seconds;
  • Added the view of your Battalions. It will be possible to view the Companies that compose it and strength (on a basis of 100);
  • As soon as a battle in GoH is over, the DB saves immediately;
  • If, having started GoH following an attack, the battle is not started within 180 sec, GoH is closed and Victory is assigned to the AI;
  • After an Attack or Movement operation, the player's Battalion will suffer a time for Supply during which it will not be able to carry out any operations. These times will depend on the type of Battalion: Inf, Art, HT, Mec, MT, LT, Mot (from longest to shortest);
  • The Battalions after an attack will appear outlined in violet for the entire supply time;
  • The Battalions after a movement will appear outlined in yellow for the entire supply time;
  • Removed, from the battle page in GoH, the counters related to MP and CP because they are misleading;
  • Spotted Battalions remain reported but unidentified;
  • Right mouse click on own Battalion show\hide Info, if Orders Panel is already visible;
  • The timing of Battle and capture of the bases vary from map to map;
