Giants revamp. They are stronger now ,almost equal to Dragons and just a bit cheaper .All giants got +1 def and have abit more hps than the dragons. Also All giants do more dmg now.

Druid Shamans were deemed abit stronger than expected so instead of entangling strike in champ rank they get now crippling wounds.Also some range dmg bonuses were cut and their faery fire ability has 1 cd turn.Purpose was druids(shamans) to be able to perform various abilities as lore suggests but not nuking and changes are in that direction.

Liches had the gas breath removed from champ rank ,and got replaced by a unique ability chain bolt of malediction which is similar to hurl lightning but does shock+blight dmg to one or more 1 hex range opponents.Thad happened in order to have gas breath as a more unique ability to gluttons blight and bone dragons. Greater heal undead and drain was also removed from lichs for balance reasons and tbh Lich had already many abilities.

Enchanted armory from crystal tree building gives now as in vanilla +2 def +1 res instead of +1 +1 .
Sanctum building gives again ressurgence ability for the supports on that building instead of a minor bonus that was so far.

Goblin ressurectionist had its exhume skellies removed instead of that he gets greater reanimate and the bombard ability.

Some racial units like storm sisters,draconian overseer,goblin blight doctor,orc warlock were rolled back as support units.

And a big change concerns inflict stun and inflict frozen melee and ranged .They both check defence now instead of resistance. Cause of that they have now 8 att compared to other resistance checks like fear etc which have 7 since most of the units have higher def values than res .There are many reasons behind that change
1. Decreasing enemies resistances via inflict shocking,exposure,frostbites etc (which all can stack now) while they can increase your dmg vs targets to higher levels they wont turn the battles into stun and freeze fests since the target resistance and or shock /frost resitance with go down but they wont affect the target in cc terms since stun/frezze checks def now .That is huge as it detaches dmg from cc.
2. A change i had in plans to implement took place.All and i mean all debuffs that decrease stats can stack now.enfeebling fever,chill,shock,frostbites,scorching heat.Only expections were weaken and curse.Debuffs that were cutting more than 1 def or res or apart stats were debuffing morale were nerfed like enfeebling fever since it can stack now ,and we didnt want after 2 doses of immolation or poison to have target going to obserd negative ammounts of morale.A side efeect is Units that have dispell magic ,cure disease are more usefull and precious that way.
Also all dots (damage over time) abilities can stack now ,deadly poisons,bleedings, immolations etc. That gives a new depth in tactical combat ,and also some units that dont have great stats even tier 2s which have poisons or can inflict immolate or bleeds have more value and are more usefull now.

XP gaining had a few changes.
Xp limit per turn has been removed.Have you noticed that in each combat some units that performed well they could get max 1 medal? No longer the case. in each battle now every unit takes exactly what it deserves depending their performance in battle.
Also have you noticed that support , archer and irregular units taking easier ranks from infantry and pikemen? Thats easy to understand why. Poor melee units that run in front took just a few xp from getting hit and making max 1-2 hits , while ranged units from behind were shooting 3 arrows bolts having also more chances to take the kill which was granting more xp. That also changed interactions values with enemies now grant more xp and kills value less. That way melee units will gather more xp via retaliations atacks and getting hit from enemies.

All the above changes will be carefully monitored and observed in various multiplayer and single player games.
