Units gain on each champion rank 1,2,3,4 etc apart hitpoints +1def +res +dmg to the highest dmg channel they have.Affects every type of unit archers,infantry etc.
That appears to be very beneficial especially in huge maps with long games,with seals etc where you command loads of stacks over the map scattered.This way you can have lots of t1 and t2 units playing with this new change a more important role guarding areas cities or even raise attacks with mixed tier armies easier.It seems to create new possibilities on combining various units in stacks adding even more depth.


The 2 racial tier 1 units per race have been worked with ,gaining a few more hitpoints,abilities in various medals +champion1 rank like the rest units have in WOR,and also the cost of recruiting t1 units is quite cheap now varying from 25-40 gold max making them a cheap and usefull solution for early and not just ,part of a game (if you manage to get them to champ ranks ).

Xp needed to advance in ranks has been raised for all tiers ,especially for silver ,gold and in a higher amount in champion ranks so it wont be that easy task to get loads of champ ranks units.

Lich King Tier 5 and Tigran Mummy tier 3 have monster requistite (were both infantry) .
