Version 1.1
  • Building requirements for upgrades are now global instead of per-province, meaning you can upgrade your knights anywhere in the world once the required building exists anywhere (exception: upgrades are not allowed at sea). Thanks to Steam user Rellek for the suggestion to make this change.
  • Upgrade costs have been doubled across the board, but a 50% discount has been introduced when upgrading in a province that contains the required building for your upgrade, bringing the cost back down to what it was originally.
  • Special skills "Fount of Honour" (Louen Leoncoeur) and "Sacred Duty" (Fay Enchantress) now apply their experience recruitment buffs to the appropriate units when upgrading. This means, for example, that if Fount of Honour is unlocked and Louen's army upgrades a Rank 4 Knights Errant to Knights of the Realm, the newly upgraded unit will start at Rank 2 rather than Rank 0. The effect on recruitment is still there (although it is no longer referred to in the effect description) so that the AI still gets bonuses with these skills.
