Release 0.3.1: The Fungal Laboratory
Additions:

  • Added the Fungal Laboratory (found at the bottom of Toxic Wasteland worlds)
  • Added microformers for the Toxic Wasteland minibiomes and the terraformer for the Toxic Wasteland
  • Changed the sprites of the terraformers and microformers to be more distinct

Changes:
  • Made Beacon Pointer have an off state
  • Added 'Dotefruit to the Crystal Mountains minibiome
  • Hidden mycotoxin debug info (it isn't needed anymore)
  • Made the Killer Bee properly stick to a surface when it collides with it
  • Replaced flag checkpoints with teleporter checkpoints in Voltropolis
  • Changed radio messages mentioning flags to mention teleporters instead
  • Changed ambient sound effects for the deep underground layer of the Toxic Wasteland
  • Changed the Currentcrawler telegraph animation to be more noticeable
  • Added treasure pools for the Currentcrawler, Electrojelly, and Batterjaw
  • A Prison's Watcher no longer has a post-spawn delay prior to beginning its search sweep

  • Increased the health of the Voltropolis miniboss

  • Removed an unused sensor near the checkpoint of the Ancient Stronghold
  • Renamed the Voltropolis Raider to "Voltropolis Militia Unit"
  • Increased the spit cooldown time of the Fungarachnoid
  • Corrected the race of some Voltropolis objects to be "human" instead of "generic"
  • Removed crit chance and crit bonus from the Ancient Bow (I'm not working on FU support anymore)
  • Slightly updated the sprite of the Voltropolis Sign
  • Made some lasers in the Ancient Stronghold use a wide version of the Ancient Crystal Trap
  • Downspitters now share a global attack cooldown of one second

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed some enemies' damage sources being able to rapidly drain player health if the player's health is high enough not to trigger immunity frames (the way that this fix works is projectile-specific, so this bug may show up again in the future)
  • Fixed the Mutant Eel being unable to spawn due to an update to TerraLib
  • Fixed an issue with rock spawning checks for the Giant Electromagnetic Coil
  • Fixed status effects that use the v-depthPoison resource causing a script error on NPCs and monsters.
  • Fixed Crystallized Electricity using the wrong color when painted blue
  • Fixed some items not having the "V" badge at the top-right corner

For clarity, this version of Voided also requires TerraLib (and so will future versions of Voided)

Additions:

  • Added the Toxic Wasteland biome (and all associated content)
  • Added objects to point the player toward Voltropolis in the core layer of the Voltage biome.

Changes:
  • Removed the "Requires TerraLib" announcement.
  • Reworked the way Tech Chips unlock tech (not to be confused with the Tech Card, a vanilla item used to unlock tech upgrades).
  • Added grouping to the crafting recipes in the Ancient Fabricator

  • The Railgun no longer consumes energy if it fails to fire due to a tile obstruction.
  • [Book of Spirits] Added display titles for the Prison and Voltropolis Raider
  • Made the Handheld Ion Cannon a weapon obtainable from the Toxic Wasteland instead of a tier 6 weapon.

Fixes:
  • Fixed Prison's Watcher not despawning when the player dies
  • Fixed the Railgun's sparks still being present if it fails to fire due to tiles obstructing it
  • Fixed the Railgun still dealing damage when tiles obstruct it.
  • Fixed the Stronghold Watcher turning its flashlight back on even when it has been turned off.
  • Fixed the Prison's wall never appearing

NOTE: This version requires TerraLib to function properly.

Release 0.2.2

Additions:

  • Added the Railgun. You can find it in the Coil Caves minibiome.

Changes:
  • Moved the Ancient Stronghold's entrance to the Strange Asteroid, which orbits at the edge of Outsider Star systems.
  • Buffed the Electric Executioner's primary ability a bit.
  • Added some finishing touches to the Electric Executioner
  • Changed the Electric Edge's alt ability to Volt Injection, which stabs an enemy. If that enemy dies within one second afterwards, they explode into damaging electric sparks.
  • Reduced the number of rooms that can spawn in Voltropolis (with a side effect of allowing the towers to clip through the ceiling).
  • Changed "REQUIRED COOLANT" prompt to "REQUIRED CRYONIC EXTRACT" in the overheated ancient console GUI
  • Solid Electricity has been renamed to Crystallized Electricity and has an accompanying new sprite.

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed city spawner orbs acting weird if the world border is between the spawner and the orb.
  • Fixed the Voltropolis Raider arena not having collision at the top
  • Fixed dungeon music triggering when the player walks into the corner of the Voltropolis Raider arena.

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed Batterjaws not handling the "despawn" message at all
  • Fixed Ancient Remote Teleporter's animation not working right if multiple players teleport at the same time
  • Fixed the Prison's doors opening if a player dies but another player is still in the arena.
  • Fixed Voltite ore having its effects applied for each player within a single region. This meant that Voltite sparks were more intense as the number of players in close proximity to one another increased.
  • Fixed electrical currents blocking player projectiles.
  • Fixed the player being able to trap themselves inside the upper portion of the Prison's arena if they are fast enough
  • Fixed the Prison waking up if one player is right at the entrance and the arena resets.
  • Fixed the player being able to get trapped inside the secondary door of the Prison (the one right before the right side's exit)
