all multiplayer local skirmish maps should be working fine except for cq8 which still needs fixing as I keep getting errors, but this will be fixed soon on next update.
also it wasn't a RAM issue after all. all player values needed to be changed to player 0 in all map files and before the change to player 0 well, because they was only set to player 1 & player 2 then this is why the the game was crashing.

I switched to open_beta and the same issue is still happening. I also made a comment in the discussions of this issue so hopefully the devs will will pick up on it. I think its a RAM issue when loading the entitites upon each time loading the maps. I will keep you updated.

lots of fixes, improvements, new additions to map builds.
also I have decided to stop at 25 maps I have said this before in previous updates only added more. But 25 maps is where I am staying at from now on.
and you may experience crashes when playing multiplayer local skirmish as over here most maps are crashing without any crash logs being saved. yesterday they was working fine. so I have no idea what is causing this to happen? but I uploaded the new update hoping this may fix the issues as a result of the new base game updates we have been receiving lately but sadly to no avail. without the crash logs telling me what is causing this to happen then it will be difficult to know what is causing the problem. my gut is telling me it is due to the new updates we have been receiving.
I will switch to open_beta hoping this may fix the problem. I will keep you updated on this.

some changes made in cq17 including repositioning capture flags for skirmish - battle_zones. capture flags have been reduced to 3 only. the changes made also including focusing more on cover used on the virtual battlefield such as foxholes and placing these foxholes in crucial positions were laying down a suppression fire can be established smoothly.
each day spent in the editor I will play test and make these changes. I absolutely adore skirmish play so all changes made is with skirmish - battle_zones in mind to.
also other changes include the european model buildings from the mow2 mod well, they can sometimes lose the cover system that is scripted in allowing for the human player to micromanage soldiers to enter the buildings and shoot through the windows. the cover system that has become corrupted is fixed by a simple replacing of the same european model.
lots of times when cover like this is needed in skirmish - battle_zones only its frustrating when hovering mouse cursor over window for highlighted soldier(s) to enter building only the enter building icon doesn't always appear so this change playing a huge part in the tidying up process for all map builds.

some skirmish maps flags have been re-positioned.
also some map builds have been reedited such as, adding to maps, deleting entities from maps, improvements and fixes to maps and focusing a lot on town_borders, fences, walls. stone_paths, ie, all environmental assets that are already placed are still in the process of being reedited again. overall, this is all part of the slow build and tidy up process for all maps which is ongoing.
general tidy up. updates will continue as normal.

changed some skirmish environments to night while adding new preview screens to.
tweaking skirmish environmental settings is ongoing so there will be changes made in future updates. I spend time in the level editor each day so I am always play testing and making changes, tidying up, adding to, that sort of thing.
some minor fixes. general tidy up. updates are ongoing.

this update comprises of lots of tidying up to most maps while introducing some new builds to. also there is a new map added called , close quarter 25, which is a japanese close quarter map only one mission file - v1 is included. for cq25 battle_zones is also added to. all maps will continue in a slow build and tidy up development.

minimap will be fixed soon.
