  • Psi Gate now has codices guaranteed to spawn on all difficulties. Rookie and Veteran had 2 chryssalids replaced with a 2 codex pod.
  • Added some debug logging for if the unit spawner fails to find a valid spawn location for rebels or a haven advisor

    At this point, there's one bugfix for Ready For Anything I am waiting on, and unless anything else major comes up, this will become official version 1.2.3.

  • Updated the handling for Alien Rulers so that infiltration estimates are more accurate for missions with them. Also involves some adjusted pods for low str troop columns to balance the ruler pods being smaller than the boss pods they substituted previously.
  • Adjusted the "Football Pod" so it is a consistent size at all force levels. This also affected infiltration previews for troop columns and supply raids, relating to infiltration previews fluctuating for similar infiltration percents. The pod is now always 6 units instead of being between 4 and 6 units.
  • None Shall Pass now respects Shadowstep. It still is not marked as reaction fire so it can crit.
  • Fix an issue with the Zone of Control effect not being updated when a unit is mind controlled or killed.
  • Another attempt to fix ADVENT spawning inside jail cells with the VIPs.

  • Fix some more bugged map spots, a building that was hard to path onto its roof, and a tile on a map that would crash the game if a unit was taking cover there + some other unknown combo.
  • Fixed the RespecSelectedSoldier console command changing the soldier's combat intelligence from what it should be.
  • Updated the unmarked crate icon for Supply Extraction missions to be yellow instead of green.
  • Added more spawn points to a bunch of parcels used for some missions that see reinforcements to increase the variety of drop locations.
  • Smash n Grab crates can now be opened with 0 actions remaining. It's a free action and you'd just do it next turn anyways, and gives consistency with Supply Extraction crates.
  • Interference now has a 1 turn cooldown. Being able to "burst clear" a bunch of overwatches with it was extremely strong.

  • Fixed some more problematic pathing spots on maps.
  • Fixed an issue where Dense Smoke bonuses didn't apply to units that were outside of the original AOE and then move into the smoke after it is deployed. (Code by Merist)
  • Added 2 new (unused for now) smoke perks provided by Merist.

  • Primary Return Fire now no longer activates on a unit's own turn (similar to bladestorm/etc, to avoid lockups)
  • Another skyranger replacer fix for the UISL edits
  • Fixed config for layered armour since apparently nobody has used the ability since it was last refactored.

  • Added additional fallback handling to the pod diversity system for cases where there aren't many valid followers.
  • Anticipation (Hunter anti-dashing-melee ability) is now disabled by impairments such as burning/disorient/etc.
  • Fix a bug where Death Dealer's critical damage bonus didn't work against flanked targets that were in green alert state.
  • Removed Extract as a valid mission type for the "trench" map (it has the large highway at the lowest level between two raised sides).

First upload from new laptop and me being away from home for the year.

  • Updated handling for bonus charges for some abilities such as Roust for better mod compatibility
  • Improved handling of the Center Mass damage bonus done by Merist
  • Fixed a few more spots that were not providing cover when they should.
