GENERAL CHANGES
Updated the character portrait, CSS and victory images
Updated the character’s color palette (and her alts)
Changed the preview image
Changed the character’s info paragraphs to reflect the new changes

All special moves now have b-reverse momentum

MINIONS / POISON GIMMICKS OVERHAUL

POISON
Poison is now applied to opponents when Thara hits them with NSPECIAL, FSPECIAL or FSTRONG.
The poison effect is now more of a “marked” status. The opponent has to be then hit by a minion for the effect to apply.


NEW GIMMICK: WEBBED EFFECT
If an opponent gets hit by a minion when poisoned, they go into the “webbed” effect.
The “webbed” effect wraps the opponent in a web cocoon and launches them upwards.
They get stuck in hitstun for 80 frames, or until they touch the ground.
When the webbed effect ends, the opponent gets hit again
If Thara hits a webbed opponent, it amplifies her knockback by 1.25x

MINIONS
Hitting a minion will now launch it. Once launched, it can be hit indefinitely until it touches the ground or an opponent. When it does make contact, it explodes.
Launched minions can still be detonated using DSPECIAL and launch Thara with FSPECIAL
Opponents can also launch minions. If launched by an opponent, minions can also hurt Thara
Hitting NSPECIAL with a minion will still give them the “poisoned” effect, with a new sprite. The effect has been changed so that they give opponents the “webbed” effect on hit regardless of if they’ve been poisoned by Thara or not. Their explosion hitboxes, damage and knockback are also bigger
Minions now always explode when they hit an opponent or hit the ground in their “launched” state
Minion hitboxes and knockback values have been revamped and normalized
Dodging past minions won’t make them try to interact anymore

FSPECIAL
FSPECIAL has a new animation
FSPECIAL now goes into pratfall if Thara doesn’t hit the ground
FSPECIAL can now be fast-falled
FSPECIAL now poisons the opponent
If Thara hits a minion during FSPECIAL, it quickly ends the move and launches both her and the minion diagonally upwards

USPECIAL
USPECIAL’s animation has been updated
USPECIAL now goes into pratfall if used in the air
USPECIAL now kills existing minions as soon as the move is active
USPECIAL’s projectile can give opponents the “webbed” effect if poisoned, even if it hasn’t turned into a minion

VISUAL CHANGES :

- ALL sprites has been revised and improved! Most have been completely redone from the ground up to look better / be more readable
- Thara’s color palette / shading has also been revised and improved, including the alternate colors, with a bunch of new alts
- New intro animation
- New CSS hud, portrait, etc.
- Purple / Abyss visual effects are now green


MOVESET CHANGES :

The 2.0 rework patch is meant to make Thara’s design, balance and readability better. Her interactivity with minions is more intuitive, fun and viable. Her base movement was nerfed to encourage using minions to approach and move effectively (and to be consistent with base cast) and she now has disjointed moves using webs.


- FSPECIAL no longer poisons the opponent
- Using FSPECIAL on a minion will make them explode and give you an upward momentum boost (also restores your double jump)
- FSPECIAL now turns Thara into a ball that bounces off the ground (which means it doesn’t get cancelled when touching the ground anymore)
- FSPECIAL is now active for 36 frames instead of until it touches the ground
- FSPECIAL can no longer be cancelled

- NSPECIAL has been completely replaced! It’s now a slow command grab move that poisons opponents on hit. Hitting a minion with this move will make them poisoned, which makes them go faster, poison opponents on hit, and deal no damage to Thara if killed.

- USPECIAL now works like DAIR used to, but better. It also no longer resets your double jump.

- Minions explosion with DSPECIAL have slightly less base knockback and more range. Its visual effect was also changed (all the abyss visual effects have been replaced by poison effects).

- Minions now despawn after a few seconds
- If minions get killed by an opponent, Thara receives 5% damage.
- You can now spawn minions even if there’s already one on stage, but this will kill the minion and deal 5% damage to Thara.
- Minions now die if Thara dies

- USTRONG is now a disjointed vertical move using Thara’s web. The hitbox is uh, big

- DSTRONG is now a disjointed move using webs coming out of the ground next to Thara. The hitbox is also pretty big

- FSTRONG is fundamentally the same, but more exaggerated.

- FAIR is slower and no longer has a tipper, but is more readable and has a more powerful base hit. Its horizontal range is also improved

- BAIR is no longer a 2 hit move : it’s one slow but very powerful spike

- NAIR is fundamentally the same, but no longer with a very small hitbox behind Thara

- DAIR is no longer a move that varies between a recovery move and a spike : it’s now a 3-hit move that ends with a spike, similar to Etalus

- UAIR uses Thara’s Webs instead of her legs, and also have less horizontal range and more vertical range

- FTILT now makes minions go in the direction Thara’s facing

- Few tweaks on DTILT, such as more consistent hitboxes, less damage, slower startup and a better angle for combos at low percents. The hurtbox is no longer disjointed

- UTILT no longer has -1 range, because Thara shoots out a web during the attacks

OTHER :
- Init stats have been changed to better fit Thara’s archetype and be more consistent with the base cast (Base movement is overall slower than before).
- Removed the Munophone
- There’s probably a BUNCH of stuff I didn’t bother to document (or forgot), but every major change should be here
