v1.6 Fall of the Reich


Gameplay changes

-The game starting timer is now displayed directly on nations.

-Hold Position action has been added to anti-aircraft guns.

-Factories and Refineries no longer change their skin when captured.

-New vehicle repair system: Vehicles can be sent for repair with an integrated button from Garages.

-New ship repair system: Ships can be sent for repair with an integrated button from Harbour.

-3 new technologies:
*Anti-tank Equipment: Allows all infantry units effective against vehicles to attack vehicles.
*Field Repairings: Tanks self-repair when stationary.
*Heavy Fighters: Upgrades light fighters to heavy fighters. Fighters have more HP and attack damage. Fighters can drop bombs.

-Improved AI (special thanks to Hyasabaru for his code contributions).

Balance changes

-A new category for special medium aircraft has been created: Heavy Fighter. Fighters in some factions can now be upgraded to a heavy fighters.

-B-29 Superfortress must now reload its bombs manually at a cost from a Hangar.

-Anti-aircraft guns can be deployed in ruins and trenches.

-Artillery guns can be deployed in trenches.

-Buildings cannot be actively repaired if they have taken damage in the last 15 seconds.

-V2 Launchpad no longer reveals its position to the enemy when firing a rocket, but each rocket costs more.

-USA medium bombers are not replaced by heavy bombers.

-Breda M35 of Italy Kingdom is not replaced by Semovente Da 20/70 Quadruplo.

-Mitsubishi A6M Zero replaces Japan Empire fighters as an upgrade and is effective against buildings.

-USSR Tupolev TB-3 can manually reload fighters at the Air Base for a fee.

-Kongo Class from Japan Empire is replaced by Yamato Class.

-Trenches take -50% damage from artillery units.

Aesthetic changes

-New mod thumbnail.

-Slightly improved Refinery graphics.

-Added submerge/emerge icon to submarines.

-Improved effects.

Gameplay Changes

-New technological requirements necessary to build civil buildings. Each civil building now requires two buildings of the previous technological level to be built.

-Advanced AA Support technology is now available for the US, USSR, Italy Kingdom and Nazi Germany only.

-Anti-tank units can now only attack vehicles.

-Deployable units now deploy on their own instantly when stationary.

-Trees no longer prevent the construction of buildings.

-A countdown has been added to the start of the game, to ensure that all players start at the same time.

-Cease Fire action has been added to all artillery and armored units.

-Manual Drop action has been added to all strategic bombers.

-Alliance perks are automatically applied through the Diplomatic Station if playing with allied players.

-New construction system: Buildings are now built with Engineering Trucks automatically.

-New resource delivery system: Production buildings now deliver resources to main buildings.

-Refinery now generates Oil Trucks that carry more resources directly to the nearest base.

-Opposite AI mode is now enabled by default.

-New starting option: Random Nation, the player's nation is selected randomly.

-Added new APM counter.

Balance Changes

-USSR Ally Support technology has been removed.

-Engineering team can be created from the Barracks.

-Minesweeper can place Sea Mines.

-USSR Resistance Stratagem has been replaced by Penal Battalion Stratagem. Infantry units have a 30% chance to revive upon death for 2 minutes.

-Fast Processing technology now increases oil extraction speed by 25%.

-Fast Processing technology now is required to upgrade refineries.

-Artillery units and strategic bombers deal ally damage.

Unit Changes

-Refinery has been combined with Derrick and Rod Pump in the same building.

-Rocket Team has been removed. Rocket capability has been added to the MG Troop.

-M13 Bunker has been replaced by Granatieri. Cheap anti-vehicle infantry unit.

-M19 MGMC and FPZ IV Wirbelwind are now special units of the US and Nazi Germany respectively.

-New different anti-aircraft units for each faction:
*USA: Bofors 40mm L/60.
*USSR: M1939 (61-K).
*UK: QF 40mm Mark I.
*NG: Flak 30 2cm.
*JE: Type 96 AAG.
*IK: Breda M35.

-New different AT guns for each faction:
*USA: M1 57mm.
*USSR: M-42 45mm.
*JE: Type 1 47mm.
*IK: Cannone da 47/32 M35.

-New units of Nazi Germany:
*Panzer III: Light tank.
*Panzer VI Tiger I: Heavy tank.

-Units removed:
*Anti-aircraft halftracks.
*Schnellboot.
*3 Inch M3 gun.
*Panzer I.
*Panzer IV.

-Transport Truck is now the same unit for all factions.

-New Easter Egg unit (?).

Aesthetic Changes

-Historical accuracy changes:
*Panzer III now replaces Panzer I.
*Panzer V Panther is now a medium tank, replacing Panzer IV.
*Panzer VI Tiger I is Nazi Germany's new heavy tank.

-MG Troop is called Assault Troop.

-Infantry units now die more organically.

-New icons for resources, actions and technologies.

-New architectural styles for the Factory.

-Size of all units has been adjusted.

-Special units are now shown in yellow in UI.

-Units show effect auras when receiving an ally buff.

-Slightly improved effects.

-Some sounds improved.

-Fixed a bug with the Supply Ship: It could not repair corvettes or transports.

Gameplay Changes

-The oil amount in pools has been limited (3000 crude oil per pool).

-Now pools are drained regardless of whether the pumps are destroyed or not.

-New ground vehicle armor technologies: 100mm Armor, Reusable Chassis, Extensive Tracks. Add +1 armor to vehicles.

-New armor technologies for ships and submarines: Light Stabilizers, Reinforced Structures, Armored Decks. Add +1 armor to ships and submarines.

-New resource: Influence, obtained by building, creating units and researching technologies.

-New alliance system. With Influence obtained player can select a new alliance:
*Each alliance grants different advantages to players at no cost.
*Alliances represent more countries of the war and include them in the mod.
*Players must decide in what order to obtain alliances, to perfect their strategy.

-10 new alliances for Allies: USA, USSR, UK, Free France, Australia, Canada, Philippines, Poland, Czechoslovakia, China.

-10 new alliances for Axis: Nazi Germany, Japan Empire, Italy Kingdom, Vichy France, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland.



New units

-New US building: 3-Inch M3 gun, long-range anti-aircraft defense, replaces the Trench. Available with an Air Base.

-New US Building: M1919 16-Inch gun, Long Range Coastal Defense. Available with a Harbour.

-New US unit: M8 Greyhound, anti-infantry armored vehicle. Available at the Garage.

-New US unit: T34 Calliope, medium tank with missile burst attack. Available at the Garage with Medium Tanks technology.

-New USSR unit: ZSU-37, anti-aircraft armored vehicle, can switch between air and ground attack. Available with Stalin Organs at the Garage.

-New unit of the USSR: Morskaya Kommando team, resistant infantry, invulnerable to toxic gas that greatly increases morale when killing. Available at the Barracks.

-New USSR unit: SU-100Y, self-propelled naval gun. Available at the Garage with Ground Tactics.

-New UK Building: RDF, Radio Direction Finder, detects aircraft in fog and increases damage from air defenses. Available with an Air Base.

-New UK unit: Commando Team, sabotage infantry that can drop demolition charges at buildings. Available at the Barracks.

-New UK unit: Avro Lancaster BI, seismic bomber. Available at the Air Base with Strategic Bombardment.



Aesthetic changes

-Fixed a team color bug on Cavallieri and mobile artillery guns.

-Now improvement and faction icons have maximum opacity.

-Now District Station and Headquarters show different graphic details for each faction.

-Now the Flame Solution technology is called Massive Destruction.

-Now the Improved Armour technology is called Medium Tanks.

-Selection sounds have been added to unit production buildings.

-Now medium and heavy tanks, and artillery cannons are effective against ships.

-Current production indicators have been added to Refineries and Rod Pumps.

-Now the District Station costs less industry (1500>1000) and slightly reduces the passive morale reduction when built, but the passive morale reduction is higher (1>2).

-New skills in the District Station:
