**Development Expanded patch 1.1 "Cultural Enrichment" is now Live**

>There is now the option to enable the cultural shift mechanic in a earlygame popup.
Where low development and high devastation provinces switch to a neighbouring peacefull culture and gain some development+lose all devastation, as new settlers flood into the lands.

**Genocide mode**: Rapid shifts in cultures during times of devastating wars.
**Normal Mode**: slow and occational culture shifts during the worst of wars.
**"Fuck off Jay"**: for when you don't want any culture shifts.

>fixed the Develop Local Area issue where it would be allowed in states you did not fully control.

>SEVERELY reduces the excessive dev growth in provinces, who will now much slower when beyond their natural population capacity.

>Regrowth, after losing development to devastation, provinces will now gain a "fallow lands" modifier where the open space allows for a more rapid growth of population in the area.
