- Arcologies now have a 1 per planet build limit and reduce a planet's pop housing usage.
- Arcologies are now a hybrid between a building and a district, costing both a building slot and a district slot to build.
- Arcologies now benefit from +housing district buffs resulting from research.
- Arcologies now benefit from ascension perks which boost the amount of artisans/maintentance drone jobs in districts.
- Arcologies are now expanded into three stages:
* Orbital Habitats can only support the smallest stage.
* Regular planets can support the first two stages.
* Only repaired Ring Worlds or Ecumenopolis/Hive/Machine Worlds can support all three stages.
- The arcologies from the old version of the mod are no longer compatible. But to prevent the update from spoiling oany games which are still in progress these are now called "legacy buildings". Legacy buildings have their old stats, are now very overpowered but aren't removed from the game. And you can't produce any new ones. Slightl alterations to their descriptions in-game allow you to tell them apart and roleplay the in-game changes (such as "Weathering Residential Spires").
