Removed the survival gamemode as it inexplicably caused crashing when selecting a mutation in the mutations tab and crashed on load if you attempted to load any mutation via console.

If you still want to play the survival gamemode, you can download from Gamemaps.com or ModDB.com as it's only the Steam version that caused crashing.

I'll continue playing around with it in my development build and will hopefully have it in a non-crashing state for 3.0

Beta Mutation: TLS Compatability Hotfix and General Pre-3.0 Cleanup

====Generic====
*Updated addoninfo.txt with current authors/descriptions/fewer misdirections

====Cvar changes====
*Lowered z_infected_police_tonfa_probability to 0 to remove unwanted nightstick spawns on police commons
*Lowered z_noise_level_vocalize to 75, Left 4 Dead 1's original value
*Lowered z_notice_it_range to 0 in the hopes that it helps with the doomer's bile problem
*Lowered z_pounce_shake_amplitude set to 0 as pre-release footage shows (somehow, I missed this one for the longest time. Whoopsie!)
*Raised z_finale_spawn_safety_range set to 600 as per TLS' l4d1 mutation
*Raised z_it_decay_rate to 999999.99 in the hopes that it helps with the boomer's bile problem
*Removed cl_ragdoll_force_multiplier as it was unnecessary
*Removed director_always_allow_wanderers as it was unnecessary
*Removed director_convert_pills as it was unnecessary
*Removed director_item_placement_method as it was unnecessary

*The population is now using the most up-to-date version of L4D1 mutation's population file, preventing any problems there

====Vscript changes====
*Boomer explosion damage has been lowered from 40 to 30 because of closer inspection to pre-release footage
*Boomer explosion damage is now correctly attributed to the boomer, not the survivor
*Hard director set for special infected limits. More specifically: 2 hunters, 1 smoker, and 1 boomer
*Removed cm_shouldescorthumanplayers as it was unnecessary
*Removed shouldallowspecialswithtank as it had no supporting evidence whatsoever
*Escapespawntanks set to true as per TLS' l4d1 mutation
*L4d1 Special Infected models will be loaded anywhere and everywhere, as opposed to l4d2 models

General maintenance patch and small update. Nothing too noteworthy but a list of changes are below anyways:

Added a new text message saying that players have joined the game, good way to verify if the mutation works, too!

Fixed the "player has attacked a teammate" to "Player attacked a teammate" to be more accurate

Removed a cvar that was spamming the console with weapon equip updates. Finally.

Director no longer converts pills to medkits

Director uses an older item placement method

Director no longer spawns propane tanks, oxygen tanks, or firework crates. If this causes problems in a campaign please let me know!

Removed infinite incaps due to finding a video where the survivor was revived with black and white screen.

Survivor lights on healing should be removed now.

Water friction set to 0

Transition blur fade time set to 0

Ragdoll force multiplier set to 0

Tank speed reduced to 190

Smokers are now much more mobile, being able to move immediately after dropping a survivor and can hold onto survivors even if shot a lot.

Splitscreen cvars removed for user convenience

Removed a number of misc. cvars to see if it fixes crash to desktop reports. You'll have to tell me if it worked as I can't reproduce this problem.

+The versus mode has been overhauled thanks to IndigoShift, expect little to no problems with it now! It's actually really fun if I say so myself.

+Survivor glows that Infected see are more accurate to the beta version

+When shooting a teammate, a text message shows up "(player) has attacked a teammate" Like in beta footage and Counter-Strike Source

+Generic Friendly Fire lines now play when shoving other survivors. For example: "Ow, that hurt!"

Vscript changes:
+Survivor shoving! Move those pesky bots out of your way with a single right-click! This concept is also backed up by the L4D1 commentary where a dev talks about survivors having the ability to push each other.

+Boomers now do deadly explosive damage when they die close to you

-I know I said tanks were going to move faster in this update when they're on fire but something's not working now and I've gotta fix it so it's delayed until a further update.

Cvar updates:
+EVEN further cleaned up unused cvars, notes, and stuff. Phew!

+Survivor glows restored to green. Using an RGB finding tool, I've found a pretty accurate green directly from beta footage. Incapacitated and pinned survivors are still white. The hunter no longer has a glow around himself when he pounces a survivor. Survivors who are "it" now have a white glow.

+Protection messages such as "Louis protected Bill" are now completely disabled. Unfortunately, the sound still plays

+Survivor FOV changes from patch 2.0 has been removed for user convenience

+Grenade tank damage has been increased to 9000 (doesn't seem to work though), pipe bomb timer has been decreased from 1 to 0.7, and pipe bomb radius has been increased from 750 to 925

+cl_ragdoll_version has been restored to 1, fixing any potential problems with custom ragdolls and survivor ragdoll mods.

+Leakers have been removed entirely. No more invincible boomers that force you to wait for a fire to go out! Yay

+Tank death animations finally restored

+Shoving a hunter when they've pounced a survivor will instantly kill them, as seen in Beta footage

+Boomers can no longer vomit and doesn't have the horde drawing ability (temporary solution to a vscript problem)

+In the commentary, one of the devs talks about not having a third-strike rule. Going back to the beta footage, I haven't found an instance with a black and white screen. Also, there's no dizziness. This has been added to the mutation. It is, however, subject to change.

+The no collision edition and versus version now include the most recent updates unlike last time.

*Removed useless tutorial text, unused cvars, and notes to reduce overall file size.
*Re-enabled survivor collisions. A new mutation is packed in with it that disables this if you don't like it. Best used with bots.
*Removed a cvar that potentially causes the infinite loading glitch.
*Reduced the frequency between make way barks.
*Further implemented Left 4 Dead 1 features, such as its ragdoll counts and friendly fire factor and splitscreen cvars.
*Special infected can now push commons by moving into them. An unintended but welcome addition caused by the survivor collision cvar.
*Removed green crosshair colour
*Fixed versus mode to not spawn Left 4 Dead 2 infected
*Removed bot friendly fire.
*Updated addoninfo to include the correct author alias and improved the descriptions and title.
