5 Months to update.... nice work me.
And all it does it make it work with the current update.
Still. Could be worse. Uni has finally given me time to myself so starting on it again

New Features:
- British Civil war improved slightly, still barely started though
- Academy City focus tree expanded, some effects added, started on focus tree icon graphics
- UK focus tree template started
- Starting date set to 2025
- All other major countries now use the generic focus tree because their unique ones were crashing the game
- Map nearly matches current state of affair, most countries are now independent
- Korea split into 8 states (from the base 2), 5 in the south, 3 in the north, nearly in line with the historical provinces.
- Scotland can now be made a "devolved administration" basically 1 step down from integrated puppet.
- Also started on cooperative institutions, but haven't got around to actually implementing them beyond one in France.

Bug fixes
- Idk, dozen or so minor fixes that I noticed, doesn't crash anymore unless you try to change a countries ideology to one of the new ones.

New issues:
- Ideologies crash a bunch of countries since they don't have any leaders, flags, or localisation for them
- Indonesia is still a puppet state
- The Chinese United Front exists
- Macau and Hong Kong are independent rather than being Special Autonomous Regions in China
- None of the states have been updated to reflect their modern status (and a few countries don't exist (South Sudan, Singapore, Brunei, etc)

Note: Sorry for not having as much as I planned to have by this point. Got caught up with an idea to make single manpower divisions for the central characters (basically allowing you to send misaka to fight in russia if you wanted). It works, but I wanted to get custom models first so misaka wasn't just a generic soldiers (and male) but it was taking ages to make in blender. I've got her general body shape but still need to do the face, hair, clothes, and fingers (hands are hard ok) and after that I still need to get it to export correctly. She might start off as a non-animated. non-textured sprite.

New Features:
- Powered Suits for Academy City properly implemented
- Knights for the UK
- Initial work on France (Literally just a leader re-skin so far
- Academy City focus tree expanded, some of the effects have been added. Yokosuka is now an event, and Japan can refuse to sell it (though rarely will)
- Graphics for generals/field marshals, and a new flag for Academy City that puts more emphasis on science, and is less of a copy/paste of judgements logo
- Loading Screen GFX
- OP/ED music from the animes have largely replaced the default game music
- Many bugfixes

Known issues:
- Agreeing to sell Yokosuka will give Japan an "idea" that increases fascist support, just a placeholder, will be replaced
with a buff
- Yokosuka has no continent. No idea why, nothings obviously wrong with the code

Plans for next update (In next couple of weeks):
- Finish Academy City focus tree
- Start Vatican + UK focus tree (I've got ideas for both, been writing them down on my phone, but not at a computer enough to actually add them)
- Really quite a lot of localisation.
- Add the co-operative institutions (Tied to academy city focus tree, just uncomfortable messing with the province map until the next update since spain will screw with it.)

(Also sorry the mod now takes up 8X the amount of space due to the new graphics & music)

Updated for 1.8.1

New Features:
- Academy City map location updated, given custom provinces rather than just taking two from Japan
- Also updated the Vatican on the map, it is slightly larger to make it easier for players to actually select it
- Started UK focus tree.. I mean it only has 3 foci, but still
- Added Mage units for the Vatican
- Bit of work on graphics

Yeah not really that big of an update, main purpose was just to get it working for 1.8.1 since MTG broke a lot of it (especially the tech tree and map.)

Added powered suits to Academy city and expanded the focus tree a bit. (Largely meaningless since I'm still yet to actually add effects, but that won't take too long until the focus tree is finished.
Powered suits may be slightly unbalanced at the moment.

Hey! Final exam done.

Right, so fairly small-sized update. I'm still dragging my feet when it comes to the focus trees, but I promise I'll start filling out their actual effects today, in terms of actual changes though:

Vatican city now has it's own leader portrait and the correct name, I am aware that they don't get Italies manpower when they annex it, planning on adding Italies land as Cores soon so they can actually do something with it.

More importantly, Esper and Judgement units are now in. (Thanks again toi AngelBlue1852, and CaesarVincens for getting it working (especially since it all just broke when I tried.)

The UK has a new leader to replace Stanley Baldwin, other than that.... there's no real change, but they will be the first country that I rework for the mod once the Vatican and Academy City are ~90% done (some of their foci will be reliant on other countries, so I won't really be able to add more than a template until I've done the UK+others)

Oh and the main menu screen now has the Vatican and Academy city.

As for planned features, I do intend to make Academy City landlocked, as per canon, with a foci to aquire more land and a corridor to the Sea from Japan, but since the Man the Guns dlc is reworking the province map, I'm not going to do anything else with it until MTG comes out, because I'll just have to redo it all over again with the new map.

Ok, nearly done with exams, 1 to go next week, just a minor update.
Expanded the focus tree (will replace militarism with a unique idea later, a lot of the focus tree is just tempate foci rn whilst I get the general shape done, I know what the're all going to do, but I want to have the focus tree layout done first, then I'll actually make it do stuff.)

The Vatican has a flag and can annex Italy (Academy Cities low pop has mostly been fixed through various foci, the same isn't realistic for the vatican... so they get Italy. It's mostly there just so I could make sure it works, it'll be harder to get when the actual mod is done, so you won't see the vatican annexing italy in 2 months)

Started work on making it so that you can recruit espers, the foci for their equipment (which will be...uh something) is working, and does unlock it, but then you can't build the equipment, or start recruiting them, so it's all a bit meaningless at the moment.

Anyway, so yes, exams done, just want to sleep right now, but I'll get the espers out soon, then Vatican focus tree, followed by dragging the world up to 2030, once both trees are fully done (or at least as much as I can do before doing the rest of the world) I'll bring it up to 2030 and start work on the other nations

Added the Vatican flag (it's not using the right file type but it works) also expanded the focus tree slightly. (And when I say expanded, I mean I added in a few templates so I don't forget and then uploaded it here so that I have a backup, they do nothing right now)

Oh also, exams start tomorrow, but they'll be done on the 1st of November (other than 1 easy programming exam that I've got a week to prepare for) so once that's done I'll get back to this and should have the focus tree for academy city out within a few days (the general layout/structure is about 40% done, just need to add the 40 or so foci that I am still thinking of, and actually make it so they do something (since only the industrial & manpower trees actually do anything right now)

Hi, so, sorry about the slow development, end of year uni exams are starting so I don't get much time to work on it.
Anyway, quick update, added Vatican city who'll(eventually) be Academy Cities main opponent.

Though since neither has a proper focus tree yet it is a battle between a slightly more advanced New Zealand, and a tiny landlocked city with 800 people (That would be even smaller if it didn't keep giving me bug reports due to the small size.

Oh also, started on the focus tree for Academy City. It is in no way near completion and half of it will probably be replaced before I'm done. The industrial tree is possibly too generous right now with 10 offmap factories, the research tree is undeveloped, the political tree is underdeveloped and does nothing. And the WW3 branch is at best 30% done (with 1 focus that does nothing, 1 that is little more than filler, and 2 that currently give you a Tier 2 Carrier fighter. (The plan is to make it unlock unique esper units, but as you can probably tell it's not quite done yet, as the Espers have not been added yet)

(Also, that single update quintupled the size of the mod, presumably due to fiddling around with the province map (oh and on that, Academy city will be redone so it has custom provinces, and so that it is slightly smaller than Tokyo, rather than being twice the size.)
