Implemented targetting improvements for controller users. Balance changes for the Thunderbrand, Volt Swings, and Master of Sparks skills.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the skillbook for Tornado was not available at level 9 as intended.

Balance Improvements:
  • Thunderbrand
    • No longer guaranteed to apply Shocked on-hit.
    • Now instead has a 25% chance on-hit to create a lightning bolt, which deals damage and Shocks the target if they are not already Shocked.
  • Volt Swings / Master of Volts
    • Bolts from this skill now cleanse Surfaces around hit enemies, preventing Stunned abuse.
    • This isn't the most ideal solution to this balance problem, but it's a result of how the engine manages Air damage on surfaces. There's not an easy way to prevent it, especially without forcing the Script Extender as a mod requirement.

Other Improvements:
  • Controller targetting improvements for the following skills: Graviportation, Vaporise, Updraft, Insulation Shield, Haze, and Lightning Warp.

Nerfs to several of the more pushed skills in this overhaul. Minor bugfixes too.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue with the crafting item categories for 2H Stormhammers.
  • Fixed an issue whereby 2H Stormhammer's base damage was 110 instead of the intended 105.

Balance Improvements:
  • Volt Assault
    • Increased AP cost from 2AP to 3AP.
    • No longer damages characters in a 1m radius.
    • Increased damage multiplier from 32 to 45.
  • Turbulent Wind
    • Reduced damage multiplier from 96 to 85.
    • Reduced cone range from 10m to 8m.
    • Reduced cone angle from 50 to 45 degrees.
    • Increased cooldown from 3 to 4 turns.
  • Overcast
    • Reduced damage multiplier from 64 to 60.
    • Increased cooldown from 3 to 4 turns.
  • Pressurise
    • Reduced Suffocating duration from 2 turns to 1 turn.
    • Reduced damage multiplier from 60 to 55.
  • Vaporise
    • Reduced damage multiplier from 60 to 55.
  • Insulation Shield
    • Reduced AP cost from 2AP to 1AP.
    • Reduced Air Resistance from +100% to +50%.
    • Increased cooldown from 3 to 4 turns.
    • No longer stackable with Frozen Bulwark and Granite Plating.

Implemented a level curve for vendor weapons.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where certain weapon skills were not applying the Shocked status when using Thunderbrand. Shoutout to Zerd for their continued assistance and awesomeness.
  • Fixed an issue where certain skills would cause Thunderbrand hits to apply Stunned instead of Shocked.

Balance Improvements:
  • Master of Volts no longer electrifies surfaces.
  • Vendor weapons now use a level curve:
    • Uncommon: Lvl 4+
    • Rare: Lvl 9+
    • Epic/Legendary: Lvl 13+

Other Improvements:
  • Improved tooltips for Voltstriker and Voltmaster by adding their damage numbers.

  • Enemies no longer use the Conduit skill if the OdinCore Enemy Skills feature is enabled. Enemies may still fork Aerotheurge spells by using Shocking Touch to apply the Conductive status.

Improvements to the Conductive mechanic and AI handling. Some skill adjustments have also been made, improving the Thunderlord playstyle.

Balance Improvements:

  • The forking effect and damage on all Conductive skills no longer applies to Conductive characters.
    • For example, if you use Lightning Bolt on a Conductive enemy, before they would have received Lightning Bolt's damage + Conductive fork damage. Now instead, they just receive the damage from Lightning Bolt.
    • This means your Conductive target will be around for longer, allowing you to make use of the forking mechanic at the cost of a quicker kill.
  • Increased Air Resistance shred on Conductive from 10% to 15%.
  • Increased damage multiplier of Lightning Warp from 50 to 65.
  • Increased Lightning Warp's hit radius from 2m to 3m.
  • Moved Lightning Warp from the Divine Tier to the Adept Tier, meaning it is now available at lvl 9.
  • Reduced Aerotheurge requirement of Lightning Warp from Aerotheurge 5 to Aerotheurge 3.
  • Reduced Conductive damage multiplier on Vaporise from 42 to 30.
  • Shocking Touch no longer triggers a Conductive fork.
  • Shocking Touch now Shocks for 1 turn instead of 2.
  • Shocking Touch now also applies Conductive for 1 turn.
  • Reduced the damage multiplier of Shocking Touch from 110 to 100.
  • Dazing Bolt now Shocks all characters hit, not just enemies.
  • Increased damage multiplier of Stormy Bellow from 52 to 75.
  • Thunder Vault now hits 2 additional enemies instead of just 1.
  • Increased Thunder Vault's cooldown from 4 to 5 turns.
  • Reduced damage multiplier of Thunder Vault from 77 to 62.

Other Improvements:
  • Improved hit VFX of Thunder Vault.
  • Improved VFX of Conductive.
  • Improved AI logic for using Conduit, particularly for non-allied characters.
