Ok, I replaced the trapdoor with the idea you suggested. It's functional, but I'm not sure if I like how it looks there..

I think even replacing a piece of glass with mesh would be enough, as long as you couldn't portal down through it, only back up.

Thanks for the feedback. It is intended for the player to get the cube via portals; the door is if you lock yourself in. I was anticipating complaints about getting locked in, so I put that trapdoor in. So you think it wouldn't be too annoying to restart if you're locked in?

I liked this map a lot until I found the button that opened the little door. I liked it a lot more when I thought you needed portals to retrieve the cube. I understand it's to keep players from stranding themselves, but I was still a little bummed. Otherwise, fantastic map, I loved the turret-death!
