As Expat I pressed the door button then wasted much time trying to find the solution. Good map once I restarted.

Expat, you are suppost to be trapped if you do that.

If you get the sequence wrong, as I did, by pressing the pedestal button prematurely you're trapped with no way (that I could find) to recover. Perhaps if the flip panel was on a timer, reverting after a period, that may solve the trapping problem. That said, it's a short chamber so a restart wasn't a huge problem and I'm no mapmaker so my solution may not be a good one. Thus, take my advice with a grain (or whole shaker) of salt. Thanks for creating.
