- I know. I had see this comming when I uploaded this mod :).
As I always play as an european powermonging emperor, I'm at war most of the time!
So that's why most of the loading screen are about knights and warfare. The era pictures show that there was war and violence all the time. But I don't want a deeper meaning - we all know that. except Prester.^^

historical inaccurate? It's Crusader Kings! you can gain immortality in this game! It's the most inaccurate thing I can imagine. ;)
The Bascinet didn't exist in 769.
