RQ - Tanning and Smelting Experience

Description
This mod simply makes it so that the tanning rack and the smelter use your Smithing skill, and you get experience for it.

Note that I wouldn't use this mod myself, since I feel that Smithing already levels probably too fast, but my friend wanted this mod and I saw another request for it, so I made it for her (and you, if you want it, of course).

Since this only changes exactly 2 objects, and only a single drop-down menu in each, I don't see why this would be incompatible with any other mods. (Honestly, this is so small I feel kind of silly uploading it, but I couldn't find anything that did the same already.)

(The picture came from UESP. </attribution> :) )

As always ratings/endorsements and sharing are appreciated.

tbh
this needs more attention
it makes sense that this adds into your smithing skill
(the amount needs to be lessened by like 25% but goddam it makes so much sense)

@TechWolf20 - You would have to open Frostfall in the Creation Kit, find the tanning rack it adds, and go to the object's properties; there's a box that is labeled something like "Uses skill" which will probably be set to "no" or "none"; change that to Smithing, et voila.

my mistake i was using a smleter that was renamed and after testing with other smelters i relized the issue and apologize for my shortcomings

@andrewec - If it's not working you have a mod conflict. This alters the tanning racks and smelters. Any other mod that does anything to them will overwrite these changes.

It is not giving experience for when i smelt items? I have reverse smithing and it doesnt work with gear or ore.

Turns out you had the idea for this mod and I was asking the wrong person. I asked permission from Erbos(T.S.A) that has tanning, smelting, and cooking = EXP to use his/her idea. He/she never got back to me with a yes or a no. Double checked tonight to see if he/she replied, and he/she didn't. When searching I found your mod with sep. of 2012 stamped on it.

I asked if I could use his/her idea and put all 3 into a mod of my own, and I was going to add others also. Then saw that he/she did just that. He/she put all 3 into one mod just recently. The day that I asked permission infact.

So I was wondering if you wouldn't mind if I went ahead and made the mod I was going to make? Please let me know, and thank you.

This works really well with the Reverse Smithing mod where you can recycle your weapons and armor for the ingots that they're made from. Thank you! :)

I disagree, while making advanced armors can be difficult, putting rocks in a smelter is pretty universally the same.

IMO, all Smithing, Smelting & Tanning, should be limited by your skill. (Maybe a seperate branch for each?)
