But yeah usually in other maps they are OP but not as unbalanced as Kongo

It is written in German, but it is worth trying those mods and they work well with my Sumeria nerf. I am very satisfied with them.
But I still managed to build lots of builders later on for both ziggurats and farms to keep the housing high.
I believe when ziggurats can give you +1 science, culture and gold they are still very strong (plus one additional culture later on in the game). My mod turned them into allrounders. So dont forget the other yields besides science.

I have often seen a strong Sumerian AI with an insanly huge science amount in the vanilla version. So I decided to nerf them.
yes, you get a bit of science at first, but then you can't make farms, which means no housing, so your cities don't grow that much.
