capitalists support endangering the masses and enriching themselves, to put them in their place we need to not give loans to them, working class loans (as advocated by Yang and Sanders) would close the reliance on 'single source employment' thus leading to a stable labour statistic

I get your point, however I disagree. I'm very much a capitalist/libertarian myself, and I, nor any other capitalists I know support the concept of central banking at all. I think it's destructive and does nothing to the economy but inflate prices and blow bubbles.

@Vance @Leonhard I don't mean independent from government. I simply mean that there are no politicians on the board. For example the UK the Bank of England (UK CB) became independent in the late 90s. The Governor (currently Mark Carney) Decides with a board of experts what the interest rates should be according to what they expect the economy and inflation to do. Before that the interest rates could be set by politicians directly. So if you wanted to give people cheap money just before an election you could. Irregardless of the long term impact on inflation and the economy.
Hence Capitalists prefer independent central banks because it provides long term stability for the economy and socialist prefer dependent central banks because it gives politicians more control over the economy.

TLDR: Independent CBs are independent from politicians not from government. They are still accountable to politicians but make decisions in the national interest rather than political interests.

@Jandaar "independent central banks" are an oxymoron. Central banks exists for the express purpose of allowing governments to control inflation, interest rates, taxation and international trade. Free market capitalists overwhelmingly oppose central banks.
Keynes 5 Apr, 2018 @ 2:49am
Most socialists support nationalized central banks, but capitalists tend to be critical to central banking, because it's government control of the monetary system.

@leonhardeuler What I was aiming for was socialists supporting politicised central banks and capitalists supporting independent central banks. You may not agree but then generalisations have to be made in this game as it doesn't allow for much nuance.
Keynes 4 Apr, 2018 @ 9:16am
Socialists usually support central banks more than capitalists.

Hmm ok. I'm sorry about that. Make sure its enabled in the mod browser but you might just need to reinstall the mod. I have been tweaking it so maybe that's the reason.

The mod doesn't show up in the game even when it is in the mod log.

Could you be a little more specific? It would help figuring out what went wrong. Thank you!!
