You look tired. Come on in, grab a beer and roll some dice...

Even heroes need a break sometimes. When you've been out all day and night killing redacted, come on in to your local Ubersreik Inn and play some WAAAGHgames on a table top.

Venture to the Northern Badlands, where a Greenskin base of operations lies at a hotly contested crossroads between nations. Orcs and their allies come to prove themselves and rise to fame by showing off their martial prowess and aiding allies in need. The cleansing of Beastmen never ends at the Northern Badlands and with Elves to the north and Humans to the south, the potential for conflict is ever-present. Especially brave bands of ruffians may venture into the haunted Screaming Caverns, though they are rarely ever seen again.

Our carefully crafted battlemap is based on the real life location in the Northern Badlands, where harrowing events of cataclysmic proportions have taken place.

Once the staging grounds of the villainous Gorgosh Hellyella's WAAAAGH, he was defeated here by a joint attack by an alliance of order led by the Empire, and a horde of destruction led by other Greenskin.

Another legendary Orc once slaughtered hundreds of Beastmen on his own, after his mate was found dead by lost adventurers.

Engage in meaningful discussions about politics and sexuality, or explore the encyclopedia of knowledge our customers have about the mythical hero Charles Norris (who was trained by martial masters from Cathay). Break up the monotony of life at Ubersreik by playing now!

Technical Notes

1. This map has various weather/lighting settings. Unfortunately I cannot force the map to stick with one.

- For best playability, I recommend turning shadows off. Due to the way the map is built, shadows just don't work well with the map.
- If you'd like to keep shadows on (which does look better), I recommend playing on the "sunset" lighting option. It is random which lighting setting loads when the map loads, and if you get one that isn't the sunset option, you'll have to reload. This option allows you to keep shadows on without disruptive visual bugs.

2. Units only route in 3 directions.

- Again, due to the way the map is built, this cannot be helped. It can be a bit random which direction units go, which is difficult to manipulate.

3. This map is designed as form over function. There's likely to be some terrain wonkiness, but I tried to minimize it.

4. When standing in cap points, capture progress doesn't visibly show but it does work. You just have to stay there until the point is yours.

Notices

Please be mindful of our bartender. He is relatively well-mannered, but we cannot be responsible for gouged eyeballs if he is antagonized.

Painting your armies and models is not necessary to play, but bar brawls over sarcastic "nice paint job" remarks WILL NOT be tolerated.

Do NOT touch weapons of other adventurers. We know most of you have not met a Wood Elf before, and you certainly do not want to.

Special Thanks

Special thanks to Maruka for helping with the custom assets and going above and beyond to help. Also thanks to Frodo for figuring out how to elevate map making.

As a side note, I'll be releasing a template at some point for people who want to make their own maps in this kind of setting.

TO-DO List

- Improve low-res textures with decals
- Prepare template version for public release
- Take the map to the next level...

we will not put up with your rumors any longer, nothing is happening in Uberstreik besides normal Reiklander things, one more slip-up of your Rumours and we will pay you a visit. Do you understand?

@tuko Have it ticked in your mod list in the launcher. After starting, you can play it in Custom Games or multiplayer (as long as others have it downloaded beforehand, can't be shared via lobby).

Game should appear as "Ubersreik Inn Battlemap" in the map list, and it will have a wrench icon to the right of the name.
