Ascendants of Aetheros

Description
Ascendants of Aetheros is a thrilling stand-alone card game combining strategy, skill and a little bit of luck. The game is ideal for two to four players and set in the magical world of Aetheros. Players take on the role of an Ascendant and compete to become the next Sage by acquiring the rarest Sky Shards.

The race for Sky Shards is on. A millennium has gone by in a flash and the upcoming competition to appoint the next Sage has set all the Races of Aetheros aflutter. Even with existing magical abilities of varying kinds, no price is too high for the power to decide the fate of Aetheros. The Werebeast, Seraphim, Elf, Succubus, and Yokai will each send their Ascendant in hopes of fulfilling the destinies these Ascendants have devoted their entire lives preparing for. With the aid of their Empyrean and Lightbringers, the Ascendants pit themselves against one another in order to hunt for Sky Shards to become the next Sage. The eternal glory of an entire Race lies in the hands of one. This is the world of Aetheros, and let the competition begin.

The goal of the game is to collect Sky Shards that have varying Ascension Point values, the first to 125 wins. There will be 5 Empyreans to choose from; the Seraphims' Evangenline Regal with a focus of destruction, the Werebeasts' Enola Greenwood with their goal to collect all artifacts and treasures, the Yokais' Touya demonic desries of possession and power, the Elves' Tatiana Orbryn with a way of powerful magics and protection, and the Succubi's Lilyss Felworn deviousness of corruption and thievery. Along side your Empyrean there are units that a distributed each turn and action cards all having different abilities. Build up your points while destroying your opponents Sky Shards!
