Many players have Diemensland as their favourite map - almost to the point where they are afraid to play on other maps, because they have invested hundreds of hours into learning every last meter of the iconic first official Hurtworld map.

Other players were amazed by the first NOVA concept map, TerraNova - which featured many new concepts and ideas, not only as static world items, but as interactive features that aimed to push the game and its development in new directions.

This map brings you the best of both these two worlds. It is Diemensland - but supercharged by NOVA. This means there are new areas to explore, new areas to fight over and new things to fear. Also the animals are working!

* The extreme desert and arctic biomes have been opened up, these areas are only possible to explore and live in if you have the very best gear. And even then it will be a challenge to stay alive in the harsh climate.
* The wasteland have been opened up and reveals a industrial area laid barren by a nuclear meltdown. A great place for loot - if you survive the challenge.
* A volcanic land of lava and fire lies further into the wasteland. A good place to look for diamonds.
* There are caves to be found
* A hydroelectric dam is a great place for loot, or to prepare an ambush on the bridge below. Also a nice place to go for a swim
* Large jumps are scattered around the map for those with helmets and without fear.
* Gas stations will be good places to look for loot. In a future NOVA update - they will become places where you can manage your economy and buy gear or upgrades.
* Gasoline might be found at the oilpumps or at the broken gaspipe.
* Holy sites that with oxide plugins can teleport you from one biome to the next.
* Trashpiles are great lootpoints, but they are toxic and the smell will drive animals right your way.
* The red biome has two Drillsites where rare minerals and rocks are drilled for.
* There are a few research stations in the arctic where Ruby Crystals are found.
* Hidden in the extreme arctic are a few underground bunkers - the ultimate base location.
* A trainwreck is a good place to look for loot and gas.
* Plus more!

* Battlepit events
