Description
An SPI solitaire game, originally published in Ares Magazine #6. This game is a prequel to "The Wreck of the B.S.M. Pandora".

The player controls the Biological Survey Mission Pandora as it travels the space ways in search of alien life forms. He uses the crew, robots and equipment of the ship to collect exotic specimens with a minimum of losses --and hopefully get back intact. The game has two time scales, the tour months that affect the "strategic" play, going from planet to planet, and the expedition hours, the tactical on-planet play. It uses an event paragraph system to generate the narrative flow, and the map shows several planet surface samples (studio sets?), to be used as needed.

This TTS mod includes everything needed to play, including complete rules and updated assets courtesy of the Boardgamegeek community... noteworthily, someone reformatted the event paragraphs from the original rulebook in a readable font.

Campaign rules published in Ares magazine allow you to continue the adventure in "Wreck of the B.S.M. Pandora", and those are included here.

Acknowledgement to others who have gone before in making this game available on TTS. Acknowledgement to Dutchmogul for his multiverse of aesthetically pleasing 3D models. Thanks Finster for the table extensions, and Tumba for the magic dice tumble trays.

I can help you with some scripting. I have just about finished scripting the set-up for Great Western Trail (over 600 lines of code). Add me as a friend if you want to progress this further :)

Thanks for saying so MadMark. Although I feel like the fact that I don't code is kind of holding me back, I otherwise am aesthetically pleased with some of these mods I've made. I've taken what I've learned over the past few months and tried to apply it to my earlier output. It's been quite a fun project.

I am contemplating whether or not Wreck of the Pandora also needs a remake. My feeling is, it kinda does... just not sure when I'll get around to it.
