WARNING: I will permit owners to advertise their servers, only if running this mod, in the Deployed Server List Discussion, and only because this mod affects ordinary players unlike ACM. Otherwise you will be blocked and the discussion sumarily deleted if attempting to just pump your own PR campaign(s) at my expense.

What is AutoEngram?

AutoEngram is a tool to automate the engram learning process based on either a player reaching a chosen level, unlocking a chosen engram, or requiring a player have reached a required level and unlocked a specific engram.

AutoEngram will work for every player on a server and can be managed/setup by authorised admins(either whitelisted or password activated) or an authorised admin may specify steam ID's to provide ordinary users access to manage AutoEngram for all players. See below for commands and argument structure.

How to use AutoEngram?

Only one person can manage AE at any given time. To setup or modify AE, you must use the command as stated below. When the UI opens for you, all in-game engrams will be listed on the right hand side, able to be filtered by mod or via a search box. AutoEngram cannot be started if no Unlock Triggers have been setup, and no unlock triggers can be added to the central AE actor if certain requirements aren't met.

These requirements include either a level OR an engram being set, or in the event of the box for 'Require Level + Engram' being ticked, both requirements must be satisfied. The next requirement, is there must be at least one engram specified to unlock when the criteria is met by players. To add an Unlock Trigger to AE, you can not have a pre-existing Trigger selected from the list on the left. To clear this trigger, simply deselect the highlighted trigger data from the left-most list.

To add engrams to an unlock trigger, simply mouse over an engram on the right hand side and click the image.

To set an engram as a requirement, do the same but click the image to the left of the name.

To remove an engram that has already been added, mouse over the name in the middle list, beneath the options, and click the image.

To change the level, simply click into the text entry field. You can either reset the required level or engram by clicking the [insertresetimg] image at the end of the row for either option.

If an engram in the middle list is red, that simply means either the specified level or engram requirement is insufficient to unlock that particular engram, meaning it may or may not get added to a natively-handled queue in ARK to unlock once the player reaches sufficient level(this has nothing to do with AE and how it unlocks) - this has not been tested to any length only observed once or twice in-Editor.

You can force engrams to unlock regardless of level and pre-requisite engrams if you desire by ticking the appropriate box on the UI. You can also unlock all pre-requisite engrams before unlocking the target engram(the one specified in the middle list) by the also relevent tick box option. The notify option will have AE notify the player who unlocks engrams by telling them 'x' amount were unlocked - it will not specify which.

Commands

All commands begin with 'admincheat scriptcommand ae', append the desired option from below.

Open AE's management interface: manage
Reset AE back to default: reset
Authorise a steamID(not an admin) to manage AE: allow steam64ID
Remove a steamID from modifying AE: deny steam64ID
Start AE for all players: start
Stop AE for all players: stop

Dont bother tryin, not worth the Time to set up. As mentioned before by other Players it wont unlock certain engramms no matter how you set it up e.g. Narcotic, Sparkpowder etc etc.

Works great on Extinction for unlocking Tekgrams you can't normally obtain on the map.

you can completely lock up the game with no way to get out by pressing tab two times and then typing in the manage command

I've tried to get this working a few times with no luck. mostly because im having trouble understanding your directions. I get as far as the window management menu and even got a few levels set up with engrams and no red boxes. than I start it but I can't see any changes. i feel like im missing something really simple and its staring me right in the face.
