!Social Update:
31/12/2018 - I just came back to check my messages and it makes me so happy to see so many people using my mod. Had no idea it would be this popular and it honestly surprises me. I want to do more with this mod and take it further, but I've been having computer problems the last few months, so it makes modding difficult. In honesty I haven't played the new updates and expansions, so my mod will more than likely need a whole rework to portray the theme well enough again. Thank you ever so much to those who currently use this mod and have shown their support. I will try to bring out updates to the mod sometime in the early New Year. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I'll see you in the New Year!

!Notice:
20/09/2018 - Due to public request, the mod should now be updated and playable with v2.1.3 of Stellaris. The update to this mod and balancing I intended to do last year is still on going. However, it will be slow as I'm still busy with personal issues. Please let me know in the comments if there's any problems with the mod so I can work on getting a fix.

!Disclaimer: I'm not a modder, this is something I literally picked up to learn so I can play this species with a friend. I've never once programmed or learnt how to, so this is all self taught. If my mod breaks the game or doesn't work as intended, it's due to my lack of experience. I don't tend to update the mod without play testing it first, so it should never be in a dire state where you can't use the species. The only current issue is the name list. Note below goes into more details.

The mod is mainly for personal use, but those that understand that this mod has adult themes is free to use it too.

This mod started off as a trait and will be fully fleshed out into a whole new race. It will have custom interactions and localisations as and when I learn how to do such. It is a work in progress.

If any of you have some interesting ideas to add to this race, please leave them in the comments below and I'll give them a look and consideration. Hope you enjoy the mod!


!Note: The species doesn't use the Bimbo name list by default. I'm running into a few issues with it where it's not using the names from the list for Scientists and other Leaders and ends up breaking the event dialogue box. I'm also trying to make it so the ship classes are always the name and the ship name is random, but it's taking the ship class from the name list despite having a name specifically for it's class. Apparently? Working on finding a work around

!1.8.0 Capek Patch

With the release of the Capek patch the Bimbo Species is currently going through a rough spot. The mod will mainly be unusable as the update has caused problems with the Species' trait. If you are mod savvy, you can copy the prescripted_countries file context into the user_empire_designs and be able to use the species. You will need to do this as the default template for the species doesn't appear on the side bar in the Empire select screen. This method seems to be the only one I can get to work. I will be fixing it properly once Paradox irons out the bugs in their update.

05/07/2017 Ongoing - Balancing

Currently working on balance changes as well as making Bimbos feel more focused. After playing a few games with friends, I realise that their roleplay theme can be used for more than just being a plague of ditzy, dumb girls. Due to their very generous perks, the strength of those perks were bleeding into things that really shouldn't. For example, due to their very rapid growth you could spread to many planets and populate them very quickly, aquiring a load of resources which could then be given to an ally to fuel a mega fleet or used for your own fleet. Because factions exist you could very easily switch from Pacifist to Militarist, riding these buffs and become Amazons. Although I intend for Bimbos to later become Amazons through choices of gene-mapping or tech advances, to passively gain this strength and taking advantage of it takes away from the roleplaying aspect. So over the next few days, weeks or possibly even months there will be various changes to the perks to balance them and ultimately make them feel more Bimbo-y to the player. Opinions are greatly appreciated.

Recent changes are currently being tested and are subject to change

06/07/2017

Planet Border Extrusion increased from 110% to 200% 100% (Testing)
Planet Tile Society Multiplier reduced from 40% to 20%
Weapon Damage -5% change to Naval Size Multiplier -10%

As with yesterday's change this is to test and reinforce this playstyle. The Society multiplier was added because Bimbos are a very social species, so it makes sense to have it. I wanted it to be more flavour than a number multiplier. Testing will be done to see if 20% is too much or not. While the Weapon Damage nerf was mainly to deter going to war with this species, it ended up making the Bimbos overall weaker in every military aspect. This included defense. This change corrects this by reducing the fleet size, but still making it so you can defend yourself with Defense Stations and Ship Ports, which the previous change also effected as it was nerfing Weapon Damage and not Fleet Damage.

Trust Cap for diplomatic relations increased from 50 to 100
Planet Border Extrusion increased by 110%
Planet Tile Society Multiplier increased by 40%

The following changes plan to make it possible to win a game through being pacificistic. These changes are meant to encourage vassaling Empires through a non-violent method before ultimately integrating them into your Empire.

19/05/2017 - Name List

I've added a very basic name list to the Bimbo species. It's got a lot of holes still, such as Leader names, some more ship names and many others. If anyone has interesting names to use for the name list, post them into the comments below and I'll consider them. Thank you for your time!

14/05/2017 - Trait Lock

Bimbo traits are now strictly a species specific trait, meaning other Empires and Species no longer have them. At least they shouldn't. I'll be playing some games and testing it out to make sure they no longer bleed out to AI or other players that aren't playing the Bimbo species.

As requested in a comment, I have added an image to the mod as well as the list of perks below. Bare in mind all of these perks may seem incredibly overpowered, but these are all perks to match the Bimbo thematic. It's a roleplay mod after all

+100% Growth Speed
+25% Leader Experience Gain
+25% Happiness
+25% Thrust Growth
+10% Other Species Happiness
+10 Trade Attractiveness
+10% Influence Gain

-50% Rivalry Influence Gain
-5% Army Damage
-5% Ship Damage
-5% Research Speed

I am unsure if the following traits are being used. They don't appear in the list of perks in game, but doesn't mean they aren't influencing the game. So take them as additional perks that won't effect your core gameplay

-15% Xenophobia
-5% Ethic Shift

11/05/2017 - 1.6 Adam's Patch

So because this is my first mod ever made, I had a derp moment and struggled to update the mod. I kinda know how it works now so it shouldn't pose a problem anymore. The unfinished mod is compatible with patch 1.6.

Edit: As I've just realised, my Bimbo mod uses images from the Harem Planet mod by No Visas. Until their mod is updated I've added the image files from the mod so that the images will be included.

Do you have a list of the Anime used for the images? I recognize some of the characters, but there are some I do not and they look interesting.

@President of the United States I have left credit for your mod and page, but like you said it's been flagged and taken down. My mod used yours for it's visual assets and when it wasn't updated for a while I had to add it to mine so things would work. I'll be happy to remove your mod from the files if you so wish. I appreciate all the work you put into making it

hello im playing this race and i love it but it seems just as the discription it seems to break the dialog event box popping up alot as time passes im not exactly sure if this mod but i do know the new version of the game is out and lots has changed if you need help testing it and such let me know please leave a message within steam im too lazy for facebook or anyother complex media xP if you do consider it i do use discord if you use that too

No, I cant use the group if that civic is preselected. I don't have Utopia, which means I cant use the mod.
