Nameable Chests

Description
Add labels to your chests for easier inventory management.
Special thanks to BluePsion for her Home Recoiler mod, from which I learned/took enough to implement the "seal" functionality.

Can you make the seal function work a bit better without he Overlay UI? The text is a bit distorted, to where you can't read all of it.

Will the graphical error ever be fixed?

I'm still having this problem, too, and I'm guessing it's down to some conflict I'm causing by re-defining the base chest object blueprint's display properties. I'm just not sure why it's not bugged from the getgo/why it would display correctly initially. If anyone would like to peak at the source obviously feel free! I'll reach out to BluePsion and see if she might have an idea as well. In the mean-time I've made a small update that retains the prior text (if any) sealed into the chest upon "re-sealing", allowing you to edit the existing seal rather than erasing the prior message and providing a blank slate. I'll push that shortly and do a bit more digging on the display issue.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's actually fixed yet. All chests in Joppa have disappeared for me as well.

The weird part is that the chests are still technically there. If I walk over the space where I put my chests, they are there and I can access them. But visually they are missing, there is no graphic on the screen to represent them.

Yes, I was stupid. Looks like this won't retroactively apply to old chests you have in a save before installing this mod, but new ones I've encountered and picked up work great. Thanks for this!

GREAT idea!

Unfortunately I've activated & allowed this, but can't seem to get the Label menu option to appear (the one I see in your screenshots) on any chest. Is there a skill I'm supposed to pick up first ("etching" perhaps), or some other in-game trigger? I could be doing/not doing something completely stupid, this is my first foray into Qud modding.

All issues should be fixed/working/current as of Friday's Update, through today 05/27/17.

Hey Hurdy, I had a similar issue and I'm pretty sure it came down to my half-done implementation for satchel/bag items. I've removed that as well as removing the chests from Joppa from any designation of "ownership" which should fix the problem from all sides until I can finish adding satchels properly.

I hadn't taken a chest from Joppa. I had brought one in from a dungeon, if that makes a difference in how it's fixed.

@Hurdy Durdy the Thurdy, I was afraid of that because I did notice the chests there are in a special ownership pool/table, but I never take the chests from Joppa, myself (probably also for this reason) because they bother you with the incessant "you don't own this, are you sure?" prompt every time you interact with them, haha. I will take a look and see if I can implement a custom item table that doesn't include those chests or else make another change that fixes your issue.
