Molten Nickel

Description
Adds a trinket called the Molten Nickel.
It is worth 5 cents, but upon taking any damage you will drop your money - including the nickel of you have nothing else to drop. Upon buying anything of 5 cents or more in a shop, the trinket will be used up to pay for the cost.

Pretty neat, but not anything game changing - feel free to test it out and lemme know how it is.

glad you liked my ideas, good luck with what you are working on, and if you ever get stuck on something feel free to chat with me, i may lack the drive to make most of my ideas for most things myself (at best i get distracted half way) but i know how to do a lot of things and i can puzzle through almost any problem... unless its a social problem then its a 50/50 chance im helpless haha, but tech/math/universal mechanics/anything else i can help X-3

6.1:molten casino chip (chance to discount gambling/machine costs), molten bus token (like nickel but for keys), molten ignition blank (for bombs, chance upon touching a stone or boom door or something), molten play coin (chance to befriend enemies by "buying their friendship" upon entering the room picking up 3 could trigger a molten transformation(maybe chance to drop coins over time as you walk, but enemies who walk over coins get lit on fire)?

6: maybe you could add in a molten penny (same effect but just 1 cent, however any lucky pennies you find while holding it give you a permanent discount), molten dime item (same as nickel but 10), galium blank (active item, when in the shop lowers a random item by a random coin amount), molten quarter (passive, gives a chance that a coin drop will become a quarter), molten half dollar (get 50 cents worth of random consumables upon entering the shop), melting double sided coin(50/50 chance that every coin is doubled or erased upon pickup), molten ancient coin (chance upon molten discount to spawn a chest or item), molten rubber blank (any sticky coins will disapear but add a permanent discount instead), molten chocolate coin (like nickel for heart deals),

okay just did some testing, here are my findings/notes:
1: when melting pot is used on it you no longer drop coins on the ground, however you do keep a permanent -5 to item costs and it still plays the noise when hit
2: if you find the nickel after the first time you cannot pick it up
3: it can however be spawned into the slot and consumed but with no additional effect, nor does hold 2 have a special effect
4: i would recomend changing this so that each one adds a stacking -5 to the cost, potentially even "paying the change" when you buy stuff, aka spawns in the change in coins after a perchase
5: i did not yet ry a coin with 2 steam sales so i dont know if that works

just some fun thoughts and things i noticed about what you already have, hope something i wrote helps or inspires

Tested it, seems like a decent trinket, has some uses and is possibly gamebreaking but rarely so I think. Cool
