Beetle MKII Medium Tank

Description
Introducing my first actual, semi unique blueprint, the Beetle MKII!

A some what odd, but aesthetically pleasing and dense little tank with heavy armaments and decent armor all round. Sporting a "soft" steel core to help mitigate cost surrounded by a hardened steel exterior shell akin to an exoskeleton. Named after it's atributes, it's tough little bug to crack but much like an actual beetle, once they crack that hard outter shell, you're in trouble! However, unlike the actual family of insects for which it's named after, this vessel is very nimble for it's weight and can strafe like crazy making dodging even laser turrets a relative breeze!

The cost is pretty standard as far as tanks go, i think, maybe slightly more expensive than adverage due to the hard armor, but id say it's well worth it.

However, the outer shell can absorb even the most punishing impacts, save for maybe a direct hit from an artillery turret. The Beetle's PVP capabilities have not yet been tested, so exercise caution if thats the purpose you have in mind when building this tank. Entering the realm of speculation though, id be willing to wager you'd be pretty fine going up against similar vehicles and small bases with weak defenses like outposts and the like. But speculation aside, If you're all alone and using this vehicle For PVP, use at your own risk!

It's PVE capabilities however have been thoroughly tested, on a single test run i was able to neutralize multiple smaller POIs in one go but the bigger ones like the drone base posed a problem, the defenses on the drone base was able to finish me off in no time. However, using a fresh pristine Bettle, i was able to neutralize the drone base with relatively minor damage.

Weaknesses: Just like any tank, the real weak spot is the rear due to that being the location of all the accessible modules, ive placed a tripple layered shutter door but durring a test run of an earlier, inferior model, i took a few direct hits in the rear compartment and lost all the munitions boxes and fuel tanks. Ive added a crossbar that will hopefully absorb a hit or two before exposing the relatively squishy rear.

The rear modules are also hard to get to and access manually, ive added a small walk way square seen in screenshot 3 to stand on in order to access everything. You must drop down from the top of the cross bar, and durring actual use i recommend removing said block and replacing when it's time to supply. Since that's a thing, it's probably not wise to refuel and rearm in the heat of combat unless you're certian the turrets can cover you. Of course this huge weakspot can be completely covered with hardened steel, and the modules accessed by using the P menu, but some may prefer to do it manually. I like to leave the option open either way.

The fixed gatlings, and spotlight cube are susceptible to damage, but this is relatively minor as the automated turrets will keep the fight going much longer.

Current armament seems overall ineffective. It gets the job done pretty well, but i originally wanted to use plasma cannons as opposed to rocket launchers, but i decided to go with the rocket turrets for the sake of those who don't yet have access to exotic ores, well hopefully with this you'll be able to raid a few POIs and change that. Once you do get access to the exotic ores, upgrading to plasma will improve this tank a lot.

Now for the details!
