UPDATE: Mod updated for 1.8.3 and fully working! The traits bug from 1.8 patch no longer affects it.

Mod was also updated with new portraits to a total of 27 fluffy spacefaring felines.

Ever since the beginning of modding people's most bizarre fantasies have been fulfilled, whether those involve high-fantasy versions of Civilization or Thomas the tank engine riding over the vast land of Skyrim. The modding community's role has not been to judge but to provide the fuel for said fantasies. And who am I to claim that somewhere out there a humble Stellaris fan might not have the fantasy of ruling the galaxy with a empire of Jewish cats? If that is indeed the case and if you are that someone, then look no further: your mod is here.

The mod is exactly what the name implies, a couple added portraits available when creating a new species.

F.A.Q.

Q: How do I activate the mod?
A: In the Stellaris launcher, go into the third tab (Mods) and enable "Jewish Cat Portraits"

Q: How do I use the mod/see the mod content?
A: When creating a new civilization, go to "Appearance" and choose the "Cat" cat-egory on the left. There will be only one picture, click it and you're set. To see all the different pictures, go to "Ruler" and change between the 27 different phenotypes.

Q: Is this mod incompatible with anything?
A: The mod should be compatible with pretty much everything as long as it's Kosher.

Q: Do you plan to add more portraits to the mod?
A: Possibly. No immediate plans though

Q: Do you plan to make other religions as well
A: This is likely. Though again I have no immediate plans.

Q: Do I need to own any DLC for this mod to work?
A: No.

Q: Do I need to own a cat for this mod to work?
A: No, but it helps.

Q: Does this mod require any other mods?

Known bugs: For some reason the pictures got shifted slightly to the left. Mostly not really noticeable but I might look into that in the future.

Disclaimer: Some of the images are mine, some are not. Some weren't and I photoshopped them further. I am not trying to take credit for the images here, I just made this mod for myself and thought it would be nice to share.
