Eaton Canyon Entrance (Altadena, California)

Entrance to Eaton Canyon Nature Area in the San Gabriel mountain range, Altadena, California. Great hiking trails, flat hike along a stream to a waterfall, or hike up to Mt. Wilson. This model is only the entrance signs and driveway--it's my first submission, and my first photogrammetry model larger than a couple objects. Its the result of what I have learned though trial and error so far. I've done a bit of clean up in Blender (which I am learning as I go), but more work would be needed to look a whole lot better. I focused primarily on the stone pylons, signs and walls, and tried to capture the gates. But the thin rails of the gates didn't translate great. I added some ambient sounds and an initial sky sphere that needs work! I'm happy with what detail did turn out well, much better than my previous large scale model, but don't expect perfect. More to learn!
