Codenames w/ Scripted Set-Up

Description
This is a previously made mod that I added a couple scripts to deal out the cards and then reset the table.
The original mod was created by Igorpard.

The deal button will work with whatever deck is within the white box. Cards should be cleared before dealing again.
The reset button resets the positions of the red, blue, neutral, and black cards.

Well, considering there’s a new Harry Potter version on the way, congratulations to TTS for having the only digital version of Codenames on Steam!

This game is awful and no one should ever play it.

10/10

Same question as @grahamers, how do you prevent teams from seing key cards?

I found a bug in the reset script.
It encounters an error if you stack a flipped red/blue/neutral/black card on top of a word card and try to reset. (This would be easy to avoid except for the one card you are SUPPOSED to be flipping)

Interesting! I have not come across these cards. I'll have to remove them.

Two cards seem to be misspelled: 'DESEASE' and 'WDRAGON'. My group had some debate about what 'desease' was supposed to mean.

As for keeping the key card secret, my preferred technique is for the two codemasters to join the same team. They can then create one hidden field, which both codemasters but no others can see.

these scripts cured my cancer.

first you'll want to copy the card so each team has a key card, then each team leader will need to create a hidden field using the toolbar on the left hand side of the screen. just make sure the leaders don't rotate the cards at all so they're looking at it the same way. I put white boxes around where my group usually keeps the key cards and hidden fields.
