Description
Since Space Mining Universal's incursioning in comercial space ship design, the company has been settling new horizons for the industry. SMU has established an exploration division with the sole purpose of finding planets, plausible for huge mining operations, for our clients.

Planet LV-223 is located in the Zeta2 Reticuli Star System, in the southern constellation of Reticulumthe. It is an Earth sized planet orbiting around the gas giant "OP8172".

The data we have gathered show us very promising prospects for this planet. It has been established as a perfect candidate for terraforming due to its almost Earth-like atmospheric composition which will allow for companies to tackle on very long-term mining operations. But beware, CO2 levels are lethal here, so suits are a must.
Most of the mining deposits have already been leased to Weyland Yutani Corporation, but there are still some resourceful areas left for lease.

LV-223's surface is oozing in ores, but don't get too distracted collecting precious materials, you might end up far away from base with a low life support charge. Climate here is very unpredictable and dangerous, Silica storms build up without notice, so beware when leaving your base.

IMPORTANT:
From now on clouds come bundled with the planet. But you still have to install them. Here's how:

a) Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850 (SE Subscribed content folder)
b) In there look for a folder with this mod's workshop ID number: 909842549
c) Within the 909842549 folder, go to the Textures folder, where you'll find the custom clouds folder: "LV223Clouds"
d) Cut the "LV223Clouds" folder and paste it into:

C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content\Textures\Models\Environment\Sky\

e) Now start your game and clouds should work for the planet.

Hi, may I make an unlisted edit of your mod?

Planet seems to be working great!

height maps are fine and NPC grids and drones spawn with ease

clouds and ambiance work fine and it doesn't seem to crash the game anymore!

Will this planet be fixed? This planet has the unfortunate "Dark sky" glitch where the atmosphere is darker on the surface than its supposed to be. I think its something with the atmosphere's lighting?

having trouble getting the clouds to work and i followed the directions above. I have tried leaving the folder with lv223 clouds in it and i took the out and pasted them into the sky folder. Not sure if this mod is dead or not

Yes I'm aware that without the clouds, it looks awful. The planets still need some updates to get them to the best appearance. Waiting for my new video card to continue updating.

also lil update, reinstalling the custom clouds fixed it, kinda'ish
lighting still seems wonky, not to mention what it looks without the clouds, lol
