Scenario Intro:
It looks as though you've found the source of pollution...

A ruthless new company, Martian Energy Limited, has obtained special permission to manage a new colony on Enecatum, aiming to capitalise on an unregulated energy market. MEL's business model involves 'strategic shortages' of power, known locally as MEL-functions.

You will have to play by their rules. New corporations are forbidden to compete in power generation, except with unconventional and inefficient thermite plants. Resources appear sparse because MEL's surveyors deliberately underestimated the regional potential to scare off competitors. You will need to identify any underground wealth yourself.

A few other companies have expressed an interest in the colony, but they won't hide their animosity towards you just to knock out MEL.

IMPORTANT:
This mod edits the game files and will affect campaigns and skirmishes, so be sure to disable it when finished.
-The easiest way to tell if the mod is active in-game is to check the name of the colony.
A complete list of game changes is provided after loading the scenario.
The scenario can save and resume progress, even after the mod has been disabled.

Energy Crisis is a follow up to Failing Enterprise, and is designed to be a challenge (for Manager or higher), with 5 AI players and a hostile colony.
