Description
EvorA is a COOP CTI game mode derived from the “Evolution Red” type missions in ArmA 2. While this mission can be played in single player or from a local host, it is recommended to host EvorA from a dedicated server. The mission is incredibly optimized for both clients and servers, allowing most players to have an above-average performance.

The objective of the mission is to clear a number of heavily guarded objectives in sequence. A radio tower is also present in each objective which must be destroyed to stop enemy reinforcements. Enemies become harder the further in the mission, so solid teamwork may be required to complete to complete the mission.

Neutralizing enemies, destroying radio towers, and clearing objectives rewards score. This score can be used to unlock better equipment, purchase vehicles, and recruit AI. While you start off with only a few bases, you can build more using a special vehicle. You may also get the opportunity to capture airfields that allow you to deploy fixed-wing assets.

Custom systems, unique to EvorA, allow you to edit the loadout of any aircraft configured for it, and gives active protection systems to certain armored vehicles.

Finishing or restarting the mission resets your progress. However, each session plays differently due to thorough randomization. There is no grinding, no leaderboards, and no databases in EvorA.

Situation
CSAT started westbound expansion of their territories in the summer of 2035 in response to widespread drought in their western member states. NATO's reluctance in assisting their member states against CSAT expansion proved that they are not the powerhouse they always pretended to be. The unrestricted conquest of land around the Mediterranean continued for a year, and a front on the Balkan peninsula was opened in November 2036 with operation Ajax.

During the first period of the Mediterranean war, Altis and Stratis and Malden were captured by CSAT Mechanized forces under Col. Vahid Namdar. The first two islands were not of important strategical significance to CSAT though, and were subsequently neglected when the Balkan front opened.

Skirmishes between NATO and CSAT in the pacific let to the opening of the pacific front in February 2037. Simultaneously with this, a massive NATO counter attack was initiated on CSAT in the Mediterranean, pushing CSAT forces back to the Bosphorus. Altis was effortlessly retaken by NATO and now serves as one of their local bases of operation.

Around the Mediterranean, CSAT and NATO forces are currently equally matched. It is predicted that this will culminate into a cease-fire on this front. To strengthen our position in the post cease-fire negotiations, we need Altis and Malden back under CSAT occupation.

As CSAT forces are occupied in Turkey and the Pacific, no conventional troops can be spared for this mission. That's why you and numerous other mercenaries from all over the world have been hired to capture Altis in name of CSAT.

CSAT facilities (codename MOB Victory) on Altis are still present from our previous occupation and will be your main operational base. Three supply camps have recently been established in hidden locations on the shores of Altis by spec ops which can also be used by our forces.

In preparation for the assault, Altis Airport -NATO's main military installation on Altis has been shelled heavily by naval cruise missiles during the night. This airfield is probably not usable due to the damage. The bombardment also caused remaining enemy troops to scatter to towns around the island.

Clearing and capturing these towns will be your objective.

@Borya. Just enabling Zeus is not enough, as the created units are not synchronized to it.
You would need to change the scripts to make it do that, or use an addon to Zeus (like Achilles) to provide the "add editable object" functionality.

Hello. I have a question. Why Zeus does not see players and AI in the left menu (when we play)

@Jun. I've looked into some kind of persistence/saving, but so far it seems that some pretty significant rewrites are necessary to make this. It may come someday, but I can’t promise anything for now. Do you have experience with making missions persistence proof?
Jun-S266 11 Nov, 2018 @ 5:18am
@Dennenboom can you add the persistent save like the antistasi so we can start were we finish?
Solid Plupp 10 Jun, 2018 @ 3:08pm
@Dennenboom No, just want to be able to get back to where i was when i stoped since one game can ta so long, and starting with the same funds is a way of preserving where you left of. Thanks anyways, i'll have a look into the CfgParams
Dennenboom  [author] 10 Jun, 2018 @ 12:14pm
@Solid Plupp. Not without editing the CfgParams. However, you can enable "casual mode" if you want to have all the weapons unlocked from the start.
Solid Plupp 10 Jun, 2018 @ 7:40am
Since you can't save, is there a way to start with more then 50 funds?

No mod support (yet). The mission needs to be edited for it to use modded assets
