Description

This flies properly!

Instructions:

1) Turn on "Sandbox Indestructible Mode", which can be found under options (the cog symbol in the upper right) while in dock, in sandbox mode.
2) While in dock, lift the vessel to max altitude by clicking PageUp repeatedly.
3) After clicking "SET SAIL", quickly get your mouse back into the playing area and press I for Ignite. This will start The Archangel's fusion reactor. If you have trouble getting lift off, try facing the ship in a different direction before you try again.
4) Steer with "Q" and "E". You will slowly accelerate towards the right relative to you front. There is a rope attached to the base of the vessel to mark this "real front".
5) Hold "W" to descend, and "S" to ascend.

It takes time to master, but as can be seen from the video, is quite controllable, and even effective! This took me AGES to create, experimenting with tens of different prototypes, so I hope you'll enjoy! :)
