unsubscribed when i saw the "humans and animals" at the far left of the slider. Jumping from marrying multiple people to marrying ANIMALS is insane and ridiculous, no one wants that

Adding in that pissy "(and animal)" bit shows where your head and heart are at. If you want to throw in animal marriage for the left, you'd better be ready to throw in child marriage to represent the right.

But, what about religions and traditional cultures where polygamy is the norm? Mormons and Muslims are for polygamy but not for homosexuality.

It should affect liberal/conservative percentage, not religious percentage. "Oh we have monogamous gender based marriage, I guess that means God is real!"
Doesn't make much sense. Rather, it would make more sense for people to say "We have monagomous gender based marriage and look how great it works! A child needs a mother and a father, why need to change that?" or "Look, we have polygamous marriage and it's totally fine! Why need to go to the past?"
