Rogue: The Solitaire-Like (WIP)

Description
An experimental attempt to design a dungeon-crawling Rogue-like using only two decks of cards and no custom cards or pieces. Rules are included in the Notebook but are subject to change for balance.

RULES
RogueSL can be played with TWO standard decks of cards plus Jokers. In all, you should have 104 standard playing cards and 4 Jokers.

SETUP
The Tableau consists of 4 rows of 6 columns, all face down, with the bottom-left corner being empty. Place one Joker card here. This is YOU. Place the other three Jokers in your Hand. These are your HP. Your objective is to reach the opposite corner of the Tableau alive.

COMBAT
When you are ready to move, select one card adjacent to the Joker and flip it over. If the card is anywhere from a 2 to a King, this card is your Enemy. (See HEALING for if it is an Ace.) To attack this card, draw a card from the top of the deck to determine your damage. If your drawn card is a higher rank (Aces are high) than the Enemy, the Enemy is defeated and you may add it to your Hand (see CAPTURING). If your drawn card is lower rank than the Enemy, you lose one HP (Joker) from your hand. Set it aside in its own pile. If your drawn card (and any from your Hand, see CAPTURING) match the value of the Enemy, combat ends in a draw, the Enemy is not defeated, but any Captured cards used must be discarded. You must immediately attack a card that you reveal, but if you lose, you do not need to continue attacking.

CAPTURING
If you have defeated a card unaided, you may Capture that card by adding it to your Hand. This card can be used in a future combat by adding its value to the value of the drawn card. For example, if the Enemy is an 8, and you draw a 4, but you have a 10 in your Hand, you may use the 10 to increase your attack to 14 and thus win the combat. However, you may NOT capture a card defeated using a card from your Hand.

HEALING
If the card you draw from the Tableau is an Ace, do not initiate combat, as it is your friend. If you encounter an Ace, take a Joker from the Joker discard and place it back in your hand. If you already have 3 Jokers in your hand, and do not currently have a captured Enemy in your hand, add the Ace to your hand to take the place of one HP. You cannot Capture an Enemy or another Ace if you already have one of either in your hand. If you encounter another Ace while you already have an Ace in your hand, you will have to discard the encountered Ace.

CLEARING THE FLOOR
Once you reach the opposite corner of the Tableau, add the Discard pile back into the Deck, shuffle it, and then fill the empty spaces with the deck. Your objective is now to get back to the corner you started from. You may use the Notebook or a token to tally up your wins.

I like this a lot. Great work!

Have just updated this to have a Random Zone, so it should work "properly" now

So far the only way I know how to do it personally is to make random zones. The zone tool is the one under the paintbrush

So, I understand that due to the way I "designed" this, the cards on the table are not randomized...at all. So if you want to play this game "properly" you will have to drag them all back into the deck, shuffle it, then redeal it. Any advice on how to do it with proper randomization is appreciated.
