Massacre Mod - Expansions

Beskrivning
This mod increases the decay time of corpses by a significant amount, resulting in every battle being an absolute massacre afterwards. Each different decay frame of all units excluding sheep, turkeys etc. lasts 10 minutes. The last frame, the skeleton, lasts 20 minutes so the total decay time is one hour. Rubble of buildings(excluding 1x1 rubbles like walls) stays for 2 hours.

This mod works for all Age of Empires II HD DLC's, if you just own vanilla Age of Empires II HD go download this mod instead.

To use this mod, select the Massacre Mod - Expansions as data set in the game's settings before you start. Works on multiplayer and single player.

I strongly recommend using the Enhanced Blood and Burnt Enhanced Rubble for this mod!

The different terrain textures you see on the screenshots are from Ozhara's extended texture pack V8 which blends in perfectly with all the blood and rubble.

If you see any corpses decaying faster or slower than the others or a frame missing please comment below or send me a PM!

Would be cool to have a version of this mod for the HD version of the game

And crossbowmen have the same proble. And I hope this is my last comment.

And halberdier and heavy cavalry archer decay faster. And pikemen have the same problem of knights, light cavalries and long swordsmen. I think that's all.

PS: Oh, I almost forgot. Long swordsmen have the same problem. And I was wrong with the spearmen: they're ok. Their bodies dissapeared just because a player wanted to build there the corpses were before to change his mind. So it canceled the spearmen bodies anyway.

I hope this bug report will help you to improve this mod. I love it.

I noticed some frames missing. The knights and light cavalries corpses dissapeared after ten minutes except they are stuck to the first decay frame until dissapearing (so no rotting bodies and dissappearing anyway).
Also, the spearman corpse turned to the south meets the same glitch. (I suspect some other frames of spearmen are lacking either but I'm not sure to have spotten everything).

However, this mod is awesome and makes the game realistic. You got my 5 stars.

I would like to add this feature to a combined data mod I'm making but if that's the fastest way to do it, that would be extremely tedious. Just wondering if you used a faster method.

Did you just change every dead unit's corpse decay time under resource storages? (Assuming you used Advanced Genie Editor)

So, it works fine except it seems to have replaced unit feedback voices with japanese for every civ? Love the mod, but it's very hard to play, cuz' the female villager voice actress is like nails on chalkboard.

Is there a combined mod out there?
Xena  [skapare] 1 maj, 2019 @ 4:18
@MathiusXII sadly theres no way of combining multiple data mods, the devs haven't made this possible yet. If you want multiple data mods at once to work you have to combine them into one basically.
