S.S.F. Dawnstar Heavy Cruiser Mk. 1

Description
*This ship is completely VANILLA, there are no mods used to build this ship. The red message appeared everytime I hit F12 to take a screenshot, and it's only a warning screen that you are about enter dev mode; which I did not.

Say Herro to the S.S.F. Dawnstar! This is my first build ever and am happy to share, please provide feedback so I may improve for the furture. This ship has been my project for the past two weeks. Shout out to SlightlySalted and Tythos for all the help with weapons setup and body work. Also a shout out to Gas Bandit, WHIPLASH141, PH1L1P, and MMaster for your awsome scripts that help bring this ship to life and give it great functionality for survival.

I built this ship around the workings in the Engineering Bay. I intended to use it for survial purposes. I was able to fit one fighter, one miner, and one construction ship into the main hangar; and there is even more space in the forward hangar. You won't need a station with this bad girl!

The ship runs an intrecate sorting system. There are four connector loadouts, three in the main hangar, and one on the bottom of the ship. They will pull all ores, ingots, compnents, and ammo into the ship and sort them. There is also an assembler, disassembler, and a refinery for all your crafting needs. There is a large cargo container in the Engineering Bay that you can pull from or a small retrieval cargo container in the main junction of the ship.

The ship is made entirely of heavy armor blocks, so she is heavy!!! Like 39.5mil mass heavy! So I decided to add a Gravity Drive that will assist with getting around. I recommend that you disable the ship's primary gravity system before engaging either the forward or reverse gravity drive. There is a slight pull when using the gravity drive, but not too significant that you can't man handle her. It will take you 29 seconds to reach top speed moving forward with the Gravity Drive, and it will take you 1min 12sec to stop using the reverse Gravity Drive. Don't worry she is durable enough to where you should have to worry about out running anything.

You can pilot the ship from either the Command Center, which is meant to be a supplumentary position in the event the bridge is disabled, or the Bridge. The Command Center is the most well protected point to fly the ship. Both the Command Center and the Captain's Chair in the bridge are set with their Control Panels that allow you to view all the primary functions needed to operate the ship.

When you first spawn the ship and enter, you will notice that all the interior lights, ship signs, and air vents are disabled. I did this to reduce frame rate drop while flying and to ease transversing the ship, as I am running a $300.00 Walmart PC at the moment; lol. But I assure you she operates fine with everything on and running.

The ship is entirely pressurized and ventilated, to include the hangars. There is one oxygen farm, one oxygen generator, and six oxygen tanks. So you should have plenty of air to breathe. I set the panels to alternate the oxygen tanks to stockpile, so if you hit the button 1-4 will toggle off stockpile, while 5-8 will engage stockpile.

If you decide to add or remove anything from the ship, you will need to access the Programable Block that has [ship diagnostics] in it and run the argument (reset). This will up date the ship's diagnostics system to properly display any blocks you added or removed.

The following scripts were used for this ship but are not required to download:

- Whip's Auto Door and Airlock Script (WHIPLASH141)
- Phils_Ship_Diagnostics (PH1L1P)
- Automatic LCD's 2 (MMaster)

*All three have really comprehencive video guides for the scripts as well as ingame directions once the script is loaded. I will provide links to their youtube videos below.

I will be adding a few different variants, i.e. paint jobs by the end of next month. If you would like any assistance with any of these scripts or how to set up the guts, hit me up I am always happy to help.

I did not find a video for Whip's Auto Airlocks, but I was able to follow the guide very easily in the script.
