So I decided to shake off the rust and take it slow coming back from my half-year haitus, I'm happy to get some constructive criticism to improve this texture and any others I make in the future.

Includes:
-New model texture/normals texture
-New world model texture/normals texture
-Changed NWI stamps to Springfield stamps (circa 1942)

I think that they might have used the straight trigger guards during late WW2, but I'm not entirely sure.

Thanks! I love researching up on historical weapons and out of all the years of doing it I never knew that little detail. I guess you indeed learn something new every day!

FYI, a 1942 dated M1 would have the loop behind the triggerguard.nice retexture though, looks nice!

Hey Kaz, I think I played DOI with you a couple of days ago. I had to leave because the EU server gave me high ping. It was fun though!

I'll play it by year and see. Right now I'm looking to improve from the older DOI mods I did and keep to a similar style. If you would like to port over my mods I'm perfectly fine with it.
